Hi! Is anyone here currently selling digital products through Pinterest?
I'd love to hear any tips you might have or if you could share some helpful threads or resources.

I haven't sold digital products on Pinterest before but I have seen some accounts who promote and sell things like meal prep and meal plans and other kind of pdfs like ones about child care. If you want to sell digital product, it has to also be products that target people interested in Pinterest niches.

If you can get them to be interested in your pins, you can get them to be interested in your products.

Yes .Pinterest works great for selling digital products since it acts like a visual search engine. Start by setting up a business account, claiming your website, and creating eye-catching vertical pins with clear text overlays.

Haha I saw you on BHW you're like a Pinterest doctor
Since I’m just getting started, I’d really appreciate if you could recommend some ideas or point me in the right direction.

What do you think would be the best type of digital products to sell right now?
Any tips on what works best for Pinterest both in terms of niche and strategy?

Thanks a lot in advance!

To effectively sell digital products on Pinterest,
create engaging product pins that drive traffic to
dedicated landing pages on your website.

Utilize a business account to access powerful marketing
tools like ads and analytics. Focus on providing value
beyond just selling, and experiment with different pint
formats like videos, graphics, and carousels

yeah digital products are profitable if you know how to run pintereste ads

Make 5 pins as a mini lesson. Each pin gives one quick tip. The last pin links to your product (use a UTM link). Put all 5 on one themed board and re‑pin them every season.

Anyone having success in Asian countries? Like Singapore Malaysia Thailand Vietnam

I don't know. I just shared my experience. I failed to get sales for digital products, but physical products work for me.
When you started out , how long it took to sell your first product

Yes we had sold digital products in the past. The main factor behind selling through Pinterest is the kind of traffic you are being able to attract.
You will have to create a layered structure for bringing traffic to your pins and then redirect them to your landing page. Everything in the process needs to be optimised, even the quality of your landing page will matter, the quality of your pin will matter the most for digital products. I don’t think that your Pinterest page will start ranking organically on Google or anywhere for digital products. You will have to use promotions and sharing your pins into relevant groups and forums for attracting relevant audience.

Would it then be better and easier for me to focus on selling physical products

I have not sold digital products through Pinterest but many people promote products on it. I think the main thing is to choose a good niche, have a nice design and especially build a trust website link so that Pinterest will appreciate your account.

Finding a great niche is 90% of the work. You can streamline everything else. It's better to start with a website or landing page, verify it, and establish it as a brand account. You can get a lot of impressions but driving traffic is difficult, so you should focus on hooks and cliffhangers.
