question for reddit pros: copying someone else’s Reddit post/comment link, does it link back to me?

I need some clarity on how Reddit links work behind the scenes.

Situation:
- I have a friend who posts for me on Reddit using their account.

- I then copy that post or comment link using my own account, which is either fresh or suspended.

- I want to submit that link to an upvote panel to boost it.
My questions
- When I copy a link to a Reddit post or comment, is that link uniquely tied to the account that copies it (e.g my fresh or suspended account)?

- For example: if I use the “Share” button and get a /s/ shortlink, does Reddit record that my suspended account generated that link?

- Could that link be traced back to me and risk flagging the original post or my friend’s account?

Extra:
- Does it matter if I use the /s/ shortlink vs. the full permalink for upvotes

Thanks for any clear insights!

I don't know but I am suspicious, that's why I copy url at top for posts and for comments private tab share link.

even if incognito i feel like reddit can still track it. maybe im just paranoid lol

Reddit doesn’t attach account metadata to shared links as far as I’ve seen.

it’s weird tho cause every time i copy a link from a comment or post it’s different every time

Yes, Reddit detects your shares so of course they can link it, they probably can detect vote manipulation like this.
