Why do my Reddit accounts keep getting banned, while my team’s are fine?

Hey everyone,

I’m currently farming Reddit accounts. The strange part is — while my entire team is doing just fine, I keep running into bans, usually on Day 1.
I’m almost 100% sure the problem is not technical. My proxy setup, browser environment, and overall config are the same as my colleague’s
The only possible difference seems to be our **behavior** on the accounts.
Here’s how my colleague operates (and her accounts survive just fine):
> Most times, I click around the home page, popular and latest, and I also visit communities to join or search subreddits. Sometimes I visit the watch page.
> On Day 1, I spend 1 hour or more per account (at least 45 mins).
> On Day 2, I spend 30–35 minutes.
> On Day 3, less than 30 mins, depending on activity.
> I prefer commenting only on posts less than 1 hour old. If I don’t get upvotes, I delete and try again later — that takes some time too.

I’m basically following the same strategy, but every time I leave 1–2 comments (even after 2–3 hours of browsing), my account gets banned within hours or the next day.

So my question is:
Why is this happening to me and not to her?
Are those 1–2 comments on Day 1 already a red flag?
Does Reddit treat new accounts differently based on browsing depth or timing?

Any advice, even theories, would be super helpful — I’m stuck here.

Maybe your setup is not as fool proof as you think it is? Your browser is leaking some info to reddit. Or you keep posting the same thing which helps reddit algorithm establish a pattern and link it to your previously banned accounts.

The settings are definitely reliable, because my colleagues have no bans, maybe the problem is that I use the same subreddits

yeah i can understand... reddit can be super touchy now. even if everything’s same setup-wise, early comments might be triggering it. i’d say just chill on day 1......... no comments, just browse, join subs, upvote random stuff. i do that now

Something is definitely leaking, are you using same proxy provider as your colleagues?

You may think you have same setup as your colleagues but even a small thing could be different which causes this. Maybe ask them to record their whole process from start and all settings and then see if you do everything right.

Yes, we checked all this, I wouldn't say with such certainty that the problem is definitely not in the settings, but it was checked more than once.

Reddit's real picky with behavior patterns. Even 1–2 comments on Day 1 can trigger bans if timing or phrasing feels off. Try waiting 24h before any engagement

New Accounts: If your account is new and doesn't have a history of activity, Reddit can easily flag unclear or suspicious behavior. This is especially true if your account is connected to other actions or accounts that Reddit has banned before.

Previous Behavior: If you've been banned in the past for a violation, Reddit may apply future account bans if your new account exhibits similar behavior.

He shouldn't get banned for a single comment, so I am saying it's his setup. Also he mentioned he deletes comment if it doesn't get upvotes which is a flag for reddit also, keep the comments up. Only delete few days later if you really need to.

Also, are you sure you are using the same proxy IP when logging in the next day?

Yesterday, I studied this issue a lot, and it turns out the problem might be related to upvotes and downvotes on posts and comments, as well as using very active subreddits right from the start.
Today I’ll avoid doing that and will share the result.

Yes, even 1-2 comments on Day 1 can be risky. Reddit watches behavior closely-browsing longer and acting more natural like teammate may help avoid bans.

No, just used a few residential ips. Seems like Reddit is using an advanced ai algorithm that bans everything that doesn't show the standard "user behavior". They can do it because they have basically a monopoly position on the market.

Not true or lot of normal people would complain that they got banned for no reason. It's definitely your setup or proxies are leaking, or you just don't act like a human.

new profiles are mostly shadow ban after creation in few hour/day, it is encourage to operate using static proxies with no fraud score for register of account to secure the usage.

If you want compare to your teammate accounts you have to cope everything.
And comment in the same subs, even same posts
