I just purchased these 4 domains:

DISCOUNTDRUGS.CO
BETONPOKER.CO
FEDERALSTUDENTLOANS.CO
ADSALES.CO

I plan to develop 1-2 and sell the rest.

Any ideas on values?

i just picked up STEVEPAVLINA.CO LOL

did you pay 30 each?
was wondering if the price would drop after the initial launch

I got mine from namecheap for $23 each.

Namecheap were meant to email me when they started selling them, but still havent even after I purchased several .co's from them. Bastads

i guess appraising .co domains right now is about like asking you if my girlfriend is hot? how the hell would you know if you have never seen her. lol

by the way, I feel the guy who shelled $81K for E.CO has some brilliant marketing plan ...

Something like charging corporations a certain fee for being "officially certified" as "eco friendly" and wearing a beautiful "e.co" logo on their products / websites etc

And of course, make it recurring, like charge them every year for you to come and "audit" or "reassess" their business practices for still being an e.co friendly.

Plus, claim that you donate 25% of your revenues to Green Peace, alternative fuel and recycled bags research. And to protect endengered hampster species in Amazon rainforest.

Really, someone should figure out how to ride that "green" wave

i have a few green domains. the "green" .com domains are about impossible to get.

got "picked" at 1and1 just now... looked to see if
Code:
metalbuildings.co
was available - hey great... waited 60 seconds and checked a few others. Was going back to get it... POOF - Gone! Be careful where u do your "research"...

what do you think about the betonpoker.co? maybe put up an affiliate for poker site?

I picked up a dozen or so of these. Not sure if they will be any good, but they are all keyword rich. I had forgot about ti and had a list of about 50 I was considering but most of them where gone by the time I remembered.

i picked up stevepavlina.co and slapped together an optin page and already got 35 optins (presumably typo traffic, as its not indexed or anything yet!) its only been live a little over 24 hrs?

I've got some good ones that I would love to post and share... but since you can not add WHOIS to .co domains, my private data is still in the registrar data.

PS - For those that reply and say that WHOIS privacy came with the domain when they bought it at NameCheap, that is correct - but protection is not applied to your account automatically. When you try to do so, it will tell you that it is not valid for that type of domain name.

In other words, do not post your .co unless you are OK with people seeing the WHOIS data...

Bummer.

yes, I noticed this today as well. I've even paid extra for the service... go figure.

I've purchased 15 .co domain names. Some already have traffic and sales. Some of the domain names will never pay for themselves but I purchased them because I could.

I'm not sure what the future is but I figured that the guys who make money off domains take a risk and get the good ones when they can and not after the future arrives.

I'll build backlinks for each one.
