Yeah YouTube tends to treat those niches as low CPM, especially in India. Job updates can bring traffic but not much ad revenue. If you want better earnings, try tightening the content ,make it more targeted or add something unique like commentary, visuals, or even a local angle that stands out.

Thats nonsense. Checkout all the wojak channels that have been monitised, and they don't even use ai voices, its just most of the time TTS voices! The problem is the lack of creativity. They don't want you uploading crap ai stuff that you either programmed, or made on a website that took you 2 mins.

The noobs that want to make money on youtube, don't connect the braincells they have, where one is called "braincell of quality I like to watch on youtube" and the other the "braincell of low value effort will make me money" They never make the connection to think, maybe its only good quality content that gets monitised!

Google hasn’t updated their algorithm yet related to original voice, it’s just in the news and some forums online.

I understand your point that with the right quality people will still grow their channel, and any algorithmic updates are just for increasing their platform quality only.

And? If your using it with hand made animations to give characters voices, then no big deal. As long as once again you realise that its things that are quality and take over at least a days worth of work that they are looking for. If you can do something that takes 1 hour, and you upload 20 shorts. Thats just just desperate. Desperate to make money, and desperate to find meaning in their life for a project that develops their focus and concentration to the best of their ability.

I know someone with 90+ videos and 500k+ subs all from animated tts videos. Monitised no problem at first. Still monitised now.

TTS is still a thing for non-English channels, I often listen to some channels (especially on horror niche) in other languages, they use some software launched in 2009, literally and they are monetized.

The problem is definitely not the voice and YT won't target this kind of channel, there are tons of good channels using TTS or AI voice, the problem begins when they use their bla bla bla generator instead of their brain to create a video
