Spotify BOT error while playing - Spotify can't play this right now

So, I developed a python script using playwright, which logs in to spotify account , does random human like actions (browses other artists and stuff) and then opens the desired playlist and clicks play button. But then immedately it quickly moves to the 2nd track, and then a message pops up - Spotify Can't Play This right now . What could be the problem? The PC that I used doesnt have sound output device right now, could this be a reason ? Gonna try it on other PC in a few hrs. If anyone stumbled up on this error, how did you tackle it? Your help appreciated. Thanks!

Tried it on another pc where there were all ok with sound devices and it worked. But still I still get sometimes error - spotify can't play this right now. The timer counter is going on however.

I don't think this is related to Spotify detecting you or anything. Happens to me on some browser builds as a regular user even. Solution might be to clean up the browser config/cache/cookies or try different browser, even different OS.

I automate Spotify with playwright with no issues like that.

I've built similar automation for Spotify, YouTube Music and other streaming platforms alike, running on very low resource machines. It's definitely not a pc/hardware issue.

The "Spotify can't play this right now" error when using automation often has to do with ads playing between tracks.

My guess is, your script is probably not set up properly to handle in-between tracks ads.

Could be the missing sound device causing Spotify to skip tracks. Some apps need an audio output to play properly. Let me know how it goes on the other PC!

Maybe your songs are shadowbanned? Or do you see the same issue with popular playlists too?

Its broken script or broken bot. You need to update your bot. Must be blocked by spotify bot detector
