Money Robot Web Version – What a Disappointment

Hi everyone,
I recently purchased Money Robot thinking I could run some tests with the software I knew from years ago. But to my surprise, what I got was this weird web-based version — a total downgrade from what I expected.

There was no clear mention during checkout that this would be a web-only version, and there's no way to switch to the desktop software. Their support is terrible — no response via chat, no reply on WhatsApp.

Honestly, I’ve seen people here on BHW say Money Robot is garbage, and now I understand why. This web version is completely useless for serious SEO. I wanted the actual software version, the one with campaign diagrams and link control.

Does anyone know how to get the original .exe version?
Also — has anyone had luck getting a refund for this web-only version?

Check their support forum for support and support information. Lot of these small software companies have moved their support to their support forums to cut cost.
Money robot is garbage, now you know that.

Their support forum has posts that are five year old :')
And you can't reply to those posts also.

Only option is to contact them through skype.

This is the reply that i got from support when i asked about desktop version :

As for the Money Robot Desktop version, it's now available only to paid users due to the high number of daily trial requests. The desktop version is still actively developed and continuously improved, but currently, we offer access exclusively to paid customers.

Hi,
Skype seems to have transitioned into Microsoft Teams, so I can’t find any way to contact them via the old Skype method. I also tried searching for the Money Robot Skype ID in Teams, but nothing shows up.
I did reach out via WhatsApp since they listed it, but it seems their support isn’t 24/7 — I haven’t received any reply yet.


Also, I am a paid user (1-month subscription).
If they do respond on WhatsApp, can I ask them to switch my license to the desktop version so I can use the actual software instead of the web version?
 
I completely agree with you; when I discovered it was the web version, I experienced the same shock. It was far superior than the old-fashioned.exe with campaign diagrams. As far as I'm aware, they've locked everyone onto the cloud tool and silently phased it away. Some folks I've heard of have gotten refunds by going straight to their payment processor; it's pointless to bypass their support. Definitely a bait-and-switch move.
 
Have you purchase this for one month or life time purchase? Also is it worth creating backlinks from that if yes then can we share the tool which you purchases with some agrement?
 
Yeah you are right Web Version doesn't have full control like Desktop Version like for example Bulk Article Selection from Folders. Etc

They do reply on Website Chat but they reply very late i contact them last night and today they replied.

Have you tried RankerX ? I heared it good and better then MoneyRobot
 
I had the exact same experience. I bought it thinking it was the regular desktop version and got stuck with that web-only setup. It’s super limited, no campaign diagrams, no proper control, and yeah, support is useless. I tried reaching out too, nothing.

From what I’ve seen, they basically locked the .exe behind some internal filter. Not sure if anyone outside their old user base can even get access now. If you manage to get a refund or a switch, share it here, but honestly it feels like we’re stuck.
 
I've been continuously contacting them through WhatsApp, and I finally received a response.
They granted me permission to use the software version, and I’m currently using it.

Yes, I have also access to the web version of MR, but it's so confusing. I could not figure out how to set a campaign.

Software version is simple to use.
