I will recommend for residential 3 accounts/proxy no more for mobile proxy considering you can rotate and get a new ip each time you can use more accounts/proxy but need to be in an area where are a lot of peoples if you plan to use a lot of mobile proxies and scale this thing

I personally never go above a single account on a single IP, isolating them is safest simply because if one account gets flagged it doesn’t take down others with it.

Yeah, with residential proxies, the sweet spot is usually 3 to 5 Instagram accounts per IP, assuming you're rotating properly and keeping the behavior natural. It’s less about the exact number and more about how the accounts are run.

What really matters:
– How spaced out your actions are (follows, DMs, logins)
– Whether the accounts feel like different people, unique bios, session patterns, message styles, etc.
– Whether your setup keeps everything isolated (cookies, headers, device fingerprint)

You can run 5 at once, but only if you’ve got clean separation between each session. Otherwise, it’s better to stagger. Most bans don’t come from the number, they come from patterns Meta picks up.

To be safe use only 3 accounts per ip . But if one account gets banned it will affect other 2 as well.
