Do PBNs still help rank blogs?

They are definitely not dead PBNS can still punch a punch :) . I tried ranking a website with PBNS recently and is going really well

PBNs can still give a quick boost, but Google is good at spotting and punishing them. If you use PBNs, keep it tiny, only clean domains on separate hosts with real posts.

they're not dead if you use them smartly, but you need to get everything else right too (trust signals, UX, content quality, etc) for the PBNs to do their magic.

If you use quality PBNs on crappy site / content it might not work, so you gotta kill all birds with 1 stone...

PBNs still work if work right, but they're risky- you need high-quality aged domains with clean history and careful linking to avoid penalties. it's not dead, just need smarter execution now.

Yes.

Just don't use them like it's 2010.

They’re not dead, but you can’t use them like it’s 2010. If the PBN domains are clean, niche-relevant, and everything else on your money site is solid (content, trust, UX), then yes, they still work.

But if you’re just dropping cheap expireds with no context, you’re better off doing nothing. The setup has to be tight or Google will catch it fast.

It's fine as long as you don't buy it. Outside of your own PBN network, you'll end up with spam.

Still works — but only if done right. Clean domain, special relevance, no footprint. Most people mess with hosting or anchor overuse. PBNs are tools, not magic. Use carefully.

If done right with high quality, niche relevant domains & unique content they can boost rankings. But if Google detects it, your site can get deindexed.

If bots can't detect the PBN per the footprints, and you, as a "human" can't tell if it's a PBN, then it would work perfectly,
And, of course, you have to get the right domains for the PBN, make the links appear natural, and keep taking care of the websites over time,

Most people believe that current PBNs are useless, simply because the majority of the PBN links sold are total trash, basically link farms,
The thing is, it's very simple, links are still the #1 ranking factor, and if you can make your PBN links/websites look like genuine ones, no one would tell

PBNs can still help rank blogs carefully, but they are riskier now. Google's getting better at spotting low-quality networks. Focus on clean setups, unique content and link diversity if you use them - or mix with safer white hat links.

PBNs still work but come with higher risks post recent updates. If done carefully with high-quality, relevant domains and natural link profiles, they can help rankings. However, Google’s detection is getting smarter, so tread carefully.

It seems like PBNs are making a comeback.

So, yes, PBNs are still one of the best ways to build links, but these days traffic is also important. Meaning that you will need to put some more effort into your content and try to rank for something.

I’m running 50+ micro news sites as my PBN, filled with thousands of semi-AI articles and each site on different hosting. I just grab cheap aged domains as long as they have some backlinks from big media sites, that’s good enough for me. Then I rebrand them and build free backlinks like forum profiles and other simple stuff.

For me, micro news is a smart way to hide footprints. I Also diversify the ads, using Google Ads, MGID, and others. Some of the sites are even listed on Google News.

Plus, you can open up content placement opportunities and make some extra money since media-style sites tend to attract more advertisers.

It is acceptable provided that you refrain from purchasing it. Beyond your personal PBN network, you will ultimately encounter spam.

Not anymore ! I have 200 PBN , they are not ranking since last Google updates in 2024
