Where to sell?

I found a seller from HK on eBay who is selling a specific computer hardware for only half the price it is normally sold by him or by anyone else.

I am thinking of buying some of them, however, where can I resell it? On eBay definitely not, because my price must be higher than his and so I know for sure that all the customers will buy from him and not from me. Only advante of buying from me would be that buyers do not have to pay customs duty ....

Is there any alternative to sell it? Other auction platforms like ioffer,bonanzle etc. did not work for me. I had listings there for months and no sales ....

eBid is an Ebay alternative but sales aren't going to be anywhere near as good as ebay.

Is it something you could sell on craigslist or a similar classified?

I heard about their being a site like eBay where everyone on Japan/China (one of the two) went instead of ebay, had good traffic id I recall correctly. I forget what it was called though.

If I were you,

I will buy the most wanted items (hardisk, flash drive & etc)
Join local forum and open thread about selling computer part or stuff
Promote/offer and sell the items

or

Create your own e-commerce website
Put the items and promote
Join local/international forum and promote your website
Someone will buy (not all people found that HK guy product on eBay)

Ok I never tried eBid, so maybe I could try. However, I think it is the same as with all other auction platforms. They just do not get enough traffic to generate sales.

You mean on this site chinese/japanese people are selling stuff? Like Aliexpress? Then if this is full of chinese sellers its even worse than ebay because all the sellers will be cheaper than me ......

Yes I already have an ecommerce site/webshop. However, this is like with the other auction platforms. I cannot get enough traffic to my site. I tried social bookmarking and backlinks, however, there are only very few orders coming in .... Checking with Google Analytics I see that there are very few visitors ....
