For a new site, has anyone bought a link?

Yes, I remember once I had started a new site - ages back so wrote everything myself manually and started building links. I did not believed the Google sandbox back then and continued building links.

The site never grew, no matter how hard I tried it simply did not ranked much. Since then, I avoid building too many links when the site is new.

It's clear spam. 5000 links per day, but why? Are they niche relevant, are they worthy, are they providing you with any value?
Building 1000s of spammy links is nothing if you have a one-niche, relevant and high authority backlink.

Yeah Ive bought links for new site before. If you keep it natural and dont blast too many exact match anchors, usually no problem. I never got penalized, just dont go crazy with spammy networks.

Guess what, three or four months later, the index recovered and the ranking slowly began to increase. Although I am not sure whether backlinks really have an effect, I have seen many large websites whose backlinks are obviously abnormal, but Google still gives them good rankings.

So much links for a new website is a disaster. You should increase the number of links gradually.
