STOP BUYING FAKE GOOGLE REVIEWS!!!!

Maybe find better providers?

Not all providers do reviews from short living accounts, some of us tend to these accounts for months or years, spend top $ for manually regged and use a lot of resources (quality proxies, fingerprints, software), etc. to warm these accounts.

I get that it sucks receiving a poor service, but you wouldn’t say all plumbers are bad just because you had a bad one over who left a mess and didn’t fix the issue. You find a better solution if you need it.

The service is different then what is guaranteed. There is no service that won't be 100% no drop. This is clear can we agree?

This is a very black/white statement.

I will agree with you that it is difficult to guarantee absolute 100% no drop since there are variables outside a providers control. However, the same is true for so many other services of the world when you frame it in this manner. Many parcel delivery companies guarantee a 1-2 day delivery, but there can be complications and external circumstances. This doesn’t mean that it is a lie when the vast majority of time they uphold their standard.

This is why some sellers provide replacement guarantee. It is a way to take more control of the circumstances and say “if you ordered 10 and 1 was removed, we will replace it and ensure you receive what you paid for”

It is also entirely dependent on each provider’s terms. If we are going to be black and white by definition, nothing lasts forever. Even if a service was provided for a value of 10 and a year later 9 stuck, many would be satisfied by this due to the fact that it facilitated their progress and they got what they wanted out of the service. Social proof and potential clients/sales from it.

This is my only arguement, you pay and its not 100% no drop. As for the quality or service provider, that is not what I am bashing. But only puruading users they should try and invest that money into other ways to get the legit reviews. Giveaways, Email Promo Offers, Social Media, something more into that approach. Those last forever

If the review prices were much lower, then ok. But they are priced way too high

Brother it depends on reviews because other reviews are stick permanently
You are right ..... It totally depends on the quality of accounts being used for providing reviews.

If you are gonna hit hard with the account google will definitely catch them and delete such reviews.

You need to play like a real person....You should not keep providing reviews rather perform other activities as well .

All the services/methods you mention are fine/great, but one doesn’t necessarily replace each other. For some people doing one over another makes more sense depending on what they are trying to promote and sell.

When it comes to the pricing it is based on basic supply&demand/market value. If you find it too expensive that is completely fine, but there are plenty who are willing to pay for it at the current rate which means that generally they must be getting equal or more value out of it as recurring customer rate is fairly high in this business.

Alright let me explain.

Full disclosure we used to do GMB reviews until 2023 and stopped around the March of 2024.

Firstly you need to be aware of the fact that you are gaming the system.

When you are trying to game a 3rd party platform. They are going to hit back.

The difference here is. Google controls both the mails, and the GMB platform.

They get you from both side. They either go after the mail citing various reasons or go after the reviews directly.

Now the pricing. It's a free market. The market decides the price right?

Now let me break down the costs:

1. Cost of an aged emails that are really clean with clean activities: 3-5 USD
2. Cost of SMS to reactivate an aged mail: 30-60 cents
3. Cost of proxy: 1-2 USD (assuming 10 minutes is spent per login)
4. Cost of VA: 40-70 cents per review

Now the hidden costs.

Costs to test method, cost of emails that were beyond recovery and cost of tools. Am not adding these.

I understand its upsetting sometimes.

But please be aware if one could manage to get a review to stick for even a month and knew it was so easy, wouldn't they all hire a VA at 2 USD hourly just to easily post it. People outsource these services for the very reason that majority cannot even get a review to stick for a day.

Don't throw around the word scammer so loosely.

Now let me give you some tips.

1. Never believe if someone says lifetime warranty or even 6 months
2. Any realiable seller with experience won't do more 30 days. Especially someone who has been around the block and seen multiple updates.
3. Google comes out with updates every now and then, their core update usually wipes out 30-60% reviews, other minor updates around 10-20%.
4. Don't buy reviews before an update.

https://status.search.google.com/products/rGHU1u87FJnkP6W2GwMi/history

Track here and avoid buying before a core update. You have 3-4 months before every update.

Let me tell you something that I usually tell my clients.

When buying reviews be very watchful and factor the cost to drops. Don't buy Unless you are ready to loose all the reviews. Unless you are able to rank quick and make your moneys worth within a few weeks of buying reviews don't do it.

It only works with niches that are low hanging, high payout or for the ones that churn and burn.

If you are a regular full time brick and mortar business that plans to stay with the same listing forever then look at generating real reviews from your customers. Offer them incentives, and discounts to post a review.

Though we can practically do reviews for our own businesses that I own (local ones and retail outlets) none of our real businesses have even one fake review, i haven't done anything to even remove the 5% of our 1 star reviews. It's a long game and that's how it should be if you are building a real business.

Reviews, and blackhat SEO is mostly done if you are into lead generation, rank and rent, or looking at reselling the leads.

Just my 2 cents.

Reasonable take.

It is healthy that we have this discourse and get feedback from all angles. The more transparent the better.

There is always alternatives.. Providers always find new ideas to survive by selling them.

Thats how the entire internet is working.. Create a rule, break it, amend it, manipulate it and the cycle repeats.

When you work with a good agency that uses real, aged accounts with natural activity, the reviews usually stick permanently.

You cannot guarantee that it will sticks permanently.... Old players knows this very well and old buyers knows the same.
Thats the reason why buyers do mention in their post that the reviews should stick for defined period of time or they should replace if deleted in that time period

In my opinion, when you talk about reviews being deleted, it's most likely because the accounts these providers use are too bad. I have quite a few trusted Google accounts. For the sake of testing, I could write reviews for someone for free and see if they get deleted

Right, the keyword there was survive. The money is wasted and it could be spent elsewhere to get legit reviews.

But at the prices, people would get real local reviews and therefore upscale the algorithm for local google listings.

Right, refilling the dropped review is nice and everything but its a headache and very hard to manage especially when pages have tons of reviews already.

The entire point of this thread is to stop using fake reviews, and you come on here and try to give fake reviews. Wrong thread buddy, buzz off

The truth of the matter is that fake reviews do help sales.

It's a crappy way of doing business in my opinion but it works.

Those of us that buy online know to ignore 99% of the reviews but we are a small percentage of the buying community.

Both things you say are completely true. I wonder at what point will reviews not even matter anymore... I see it could happen and developing a new method to get customer feedback and display it somehow could be the start of a new project. I have not realized how many fake reviews there are and I can see this ending not so good for the reviews guidelines

Reviews are here to last.

People are always going to have an opinion and that is opinion content. That is why social media is so strong.

Most buyers believe them and astute buyers are aware so they ignore them.

I'm not in the business of writing reviews!

You seem very apprehensive of reviews, yet you almost glorify social media marketing whilst it is filled with the same behavior (paying for shoutouts etc. to improve the social proof of products/brand reputation whether the product itself is good or bad) :anyway:

What do you think is more important? An established social media presence or established review business listing? I personally don't know, but I think marketing efforts could be spent better elsewhere vs buying fake reviews while getting the same (if not better) outcome

I think it entirely depends on what the specific product/business someone is trying to promote. One may provide more benefit than the other for some and both methods may be useful for others. I don’t see the big conflict, which is again why I stated that your apprehension seem odd. It is just yet another way of marketing.
