i hate that happened to you, what a terrible person to do business with. This is certainly not the norm. I would like to assume that the majority of people here know how to conduct themselves properly. Hopefully you can get them negative reviews removed.

I really do appreciate the kind words, the last week has been stressful to say the least. Kinda feel hopeless as now this person has a massive vendetta I would imagine. I never expected to get the money back but would have definitely settled for updates to 5 and then filtered and a parting of ways.

I’m 100% Convinced this was the gameplan all along. I will say this, it was lucrative for him so he likely will be back. We will need to look out for the signs (which I won’t say but I think we all are aware of based on the screenshots).

I will unfortunately need to look into this. Thanks, gives me a bit of hope at the end of more work. I appreciate the insight and idea

@Kilterman Just want to echo what has been said in here, I'm really sorry for the losses and harassment you have endured here. Thank you for putting so much time into your dispute and making the process so much easier for staff and I hope you are able to recoup some of the losses you have made. Needless to say Writerman1421 is absolute scum.

Do keep us updated with any more information that comes to light in here and keep hold of all the evidence you have collected in case you need it on other fronts.

incase he post 1 star reviews again. Report him to Google. Google will take down the review. Additionally reply on those reviews till they get removed.

Overtime they would stop. Next time don't give power to lowlife losers who are both evil and dumb. If someone tries to extort money or blackmail, report to authorities, send them a legal notice.

If they try to post 1 stars report them on Google with the screenshot of the conversation. I have seen Google remove these reviews 99% of times instantly. If that guy isn't able to get 5 stars stick, I highly doubt he can get 1 stars to stay

It's very sad and unfortunate to see some guys this seller tarnishing the overall reputation of ORM industry.


Edit: I saw you paid him on wise. Report him on Wise. You will get your payment back. Wise is very good that way. Start a dispute and inform them about this blackmail scheme. You can also get his account blocked and funds frozen till your dues are cleared.

this isnt' the first time i heard a case like this. BUT listen to how this story went

Same scenario as you. my client shutdown his GMB to prevent the spam of 1-star submissions. The provider wanted more reviews and he he didn't order the 1 stars would keep coming.. He ordered from a website. He wanted to "SAVE MONEY" on his reviews by experimenting with other providers. So Everytime he opens his GMB again, the 1stars kept coming. As a result, he just had to give up by shutting down his gmb and open up a new GMB.
But yeAH, its a bit of a turn off to have to go through this. I can imagine.

Just wondering why you went with this guy vs the others, price issue?? Ddid you not read their feedbacks?

His Price was 3x more than the normal $5 ish floating around. I was paying between $10-$15 per review.
He was one of five vendors I was using. He was given one listing, as were the others. He went ON HIS OWN to find the other listings as detailed in the transcript, he did all of this as blackmail/extortion.
He had no feedback and was "Just another Vendor" to me, why I chose to use him was the "Local Guides" he was offering vs others.

I totally agree. The solution was to delete the GMB. It would have costed less.

I don’t know how he’s able to watch himself in a mirror.

I can send you the spreadsheet if that would help you. I will say it looked completely un natural to have nothing but local guides with random names not from the United States leaving reviews. Some were Israeli (Hebrew) names, then some Denmark / Swedish Names.

I noticed that Wise appears in one of your screenshots , if you made the payment through Wise , i recommend contacting Wise support immediately to request a chargeback or dispute the transaction.
