Hey everyone,
I’ve been meaning to start a journey thread for a long time now – just never found the time or felt like I had anything worth showing. But finally, the gears are turning, and it’s time to share a bit of my story.
For years, I wanted to make money with YouTube. But starting was hard. I had no motivation, battled depression, and deep down I didn’t really believe it could work. I kept thinking: “What if I fail? What if it's a waste of time?”
Then everything changed.
I found a mentor – someone who makes serious money with simple content. He showed me his methods, shared his channels, and gave me insights, tips, even his mistakes. He literally guided me step-by-step. We now have a small Telegram community where we help each other grow.
While I was still just dreaming of earning from YouTube, these guys were making anywhere from $2,000 to $6,000 a month with faceless, niche content. Looking back, I feel dumb for not starting earlier… but I also worked through my depression and completely shifted my mindset.
So I started.
My first test channel launched around May 18th. I uploaded a niche video – nothing crazy. A few hours later, I saw 48 views. It wasn’t much, but it felt like magic. I kept going.
On May 20th, I uploaded another video. It hit 1,200 views in one day.
More uploads followed. Views started landing consistently between 1,000 and 2,000.
Then came the big wave.
On May 28th, I got 32,000 views in a single day. After that, traffic fluctuated but kept growing – 60K views on another day, and so on. The momentum was real.
A couple weeks later, I hit monetization. Right now, I’m making around €50/day.
Since I didn’t get monetized for the full month of June, the current earnings sit around €600 – but I expect €700–750 once the full month settles.
To be clear – this is just one channel. I have others too – some didn’t take off, some are just waiting for the right time. But a few are active, and I plan to push them hard. One in particular is also in a “simple” niche, but requires more editing to stand out. It’s actually performing even better in terms of views and revenue potential.
Just to set expectations:
My content isn’t aimed at the US market. I target a third-world country where CPMs are lower, but so is the competition. It’s strategic, and it’s working.
One of my recent uploads was done in a rush, but the moment YouTube starts showing movement on the channel, my motivation shoots up. That feeling of “it’s working” is like fuel.
The channel that’s made around €500+ so far takes me about 1 hour per day to manage. I make and upload one video daily to keep the stats healthy.
I’m still at the beginning of my journey, but if you’re reading this and on the fence – just start. You’ll learn along the way.

On my first channel, most of the videos are now hitting 80,000+ views, with even the "weaker" ones still pulling in 3,000+.
Funny thing is, I actually started with one niche, and it just felt… off.
I switched gears, uploaded a slightly different style of content – and BOOM, the views exploded. That’s when I realized YouTube had found my audience.
From that point on, I only uploaded the kind of videos my audience actually wanted – and the growth has been non-stop. I’m now gaining around 100 subscribers per day, completely organically.
Meanwhile, I’ve also been developing a second channel. This one is in a more demanding niche – not the typical spammy low-effort stuff – so it takes about 1.5 hours to make a video. The content has to be a little better to stand out… but the demand and monetization potential are great.
Mentor, his friend, and multiple students have already made really good money in this niche. One guy made $6,000 in 3 months.
Not bad for 1.5 hours a day work, right?
And no – it’s not rocket science.
It’s very simple content:
The videos are always 8+ minutes long, with most ranging from 15–30 minutes.
Better to make 30+
To increase revenue, I set automatic ad breaks every 20 seconds. Of course, YouTube doesn’t show ads that frequently, but it maximizes monetization opportunities when ads do show.

I’ll keep this thread updated whenever I feel there’s something interesting to share.
Naturally, I won’t be revealing everything, but I’m happy to give insight and help when I can.
And yes – the niche I’m working in is also available in the USA market, but for now I’m targeting a “third-world” country where the competition is lower for specific reasons. It works well.
