I guess there are still gamers playing COC. Make your page active by constantly posting and doing some interaction.

No, your page isn’t dead. With 2.8K followers, you can revive it by posting regularly, updating the look, and engaging your audience. Start with Clash of Clans content or rebrand if needed. Stay consistent and use Facebook tools. You can definitely rebuild it!

If you want your page to be active again, you have to invest time posting and interacting to rebuild your page's followers. It may be very little at first, but with high activity, it will gradually improve.

The page isn’t dead just sleeping. With 2.8k followers, you’ve still got a solid base. Start posting again, test engagement, maybe rebrand if needed. Worth a shot!

Start rebuilding – like resurrecting a “sleeping hero”:
1. Reassess your current audience
2. Update your page’s visuals and information
3. Plan your reboot content
4. Take advantage of current Facebook trends

How to take advantage of Facebook trends?

And for content can I take it from reddit and when posting I will give credit to the creator of the content?

Or should just rebuild everything with fresh and something new niche

No! The page isn’t dead. It’s just “hibernating.” It still has followers, which means you have a platform to revive engagement – something many people have to pay for.

I’m sure there are still gamers enjoying COC! Your page isn't dead, just a little dormant. With 2.8K followers, you can definitely bring it back to life. Start by posting regularly, updating your visuals, and interacting with your audience. Focus on Clash of Clans content or rebrand if needed. Consistency is key!

It's very difficult to recover because even though you have a large number of followers, not posting for a long time will reduce interaction, not to mention whether their interests change or not.

Pages that are inactive for a long time will lose engagement, but can still recover if you post content regularly and value it to your audience. 2.8k followers is a good start, just be persistent for a few weeks to see results.

Even after 5 years of abandonment, the 2.8k follow page is still a good foundation. You should refresh the image, choose a clear content direction (gaming tips, news, entertainment) and start over with Reels, photos or memes. Build in the right direction and you will still thrive.

Interesting case — pages with 2k+ followers still have decent potential, even if they’ve been inactive for years. Facebook doesn't completely kill reach, but the algorithm does need some signals to re-engage.
You could try:
  • Posting 2–3 pieces of native content over a few days (memes, polls, short videos).
  • Inviting friends or followers to react/comment to warm up the page again.
  • Avoid external links at first — FB tends to throttle them on revived pages.

It will take a long time to get follow and reach like before because you're not using it sometime ago. You can make an engagement campaign to push and make your post virals.

The page is still valuable if the following is genuine and has a history of interest in the topic. Long periods of inactivity may temporarily reduce the reach, but it won’t kill the page completely. You can restart it by posting short, easy-to-read content like memes, gaming tips, or interesting updates related to the topic. Mix in a few posts that invite engagement like quizzes or polls, and monitor the response. If the content is relevant and consistent, the reach will recover and grow organically again.

Your Facebook page for COC isn't necessarily dead, but it may need some revitalization. Start posting regularly (at least once or twice a week). Share game updates, strategies, memes, or fan art...

Hello everyone
Thanks for the insight

If this field still has potential, restart the account with real-life activities slowly. Similar to building a new account.
The page has been inactive for 5 years, which is a very long time, so don't be too hasty to be active, or Facebook will suspect you of being a bot due to unusual activities, leading to flagging or suddenly locking the page.
