What should i do for money?

Look, im a 16yo looking to make 1k monthly, i've been able to make 2k and 4k+ within a single sale, but im more into getting an income, if atleat some return is guaranteed i can invest 500$ as of now. I am very good at programming and thats how i've made my money, not really freelancing and i wanna do something else rather than programming because im not doing very good in there, what could i invest in? Also could be a job/project in which i make my own income, like online sales. Also i've published my SaaS which hasnt gotten any users as of now

You can explore upwork, fiver, freelancer, for mini projects to get some projects or tasks

There's no magical method you can just dump your $500 in and start making money. I would always recommend to people to lean into their competitive advantage. You said you are good with programming, you have even made some money from it. Wouldn't it be better to get better at getting clients and jobs?

If you really want to do IM, then you shouldn't be looking at it from the point of 'what can invest $500 in to make money', rather focus on learning and understanding while putting in practice what you learn. Slowly, you'll get a hang of it. If you go money first, I can guarantee you'll lose your money and would earn nothing at the end.

make a youtube channel for your saas. talk about creating it, what it does, who it is most likely to help...
 
If you have something that works, I'd also advise you to stick with it for the time being and I believe that's the programming you mentioned

SaaS products are always fun ideas and you can plan everything perfectly to happen in order when building them until they are ready... then things may not go as expected

Keep doing your programming if it's still paying you and when you have extra funds, use them to start promoting your SaaS.
It usually takes a long time before it starts paying you real money, unless you can raise funding somewhere for marketing.

My SaaS rn is at free trial, you can literally buy the plan without getting charged (still havent put the payment gateway), basically is a tool for students, to help them prepare for exams. Can i post link here?
 
The project is more to see if i can get an userbase, not really to make an income, and if the project gets an userbase, i'd have an amazing portfolio
 
Let me get this straight, so you made some money because you're good at programming but you don't want to make money by programming anymore because you're not very good in there? :D

What did you sell to make money that you can't replicate to turn into a revenue stream?
 
I'd rather prefer to earn $2k-$4k for a single sale than having an income in your case. If you have 3 sales giving you $4k each one, it worth 12 months of your income idea
 
Yo that's awesome you've pulled in some serious cash already! 1k a month is totally doable. Since your SaaS isn't taking off yet maybe try something different. With 500 bucks you could flip stuff online like buying cheap goods and reselling them higher. Or think about creating digital products like templates or online courses using your programming skills even if you're not actively coding. Think passive income stuff. It's cool you want something different than programming but your knowledge is still valuable. Maybe even tutoring other students in programming? Good luck dude!

I'd try promoting it to college students on Instagram and TikTok. You can try setting up a basic affiliate program as well, just throwing stuff out there.

If your product is an MVP right now probably reach out to students you know IRL and get feedback before launching
 
You can build your skills in writing, design, coding, and video editing, and you can sell services on Fiverr and Upwork.

you can try a YouTube channel around a topic you like, it can bring steady income over time. Also, tell me what your SaaS does; maybe I can suggest ways to get first users.
Another option is to get clients from freelancing portals like Upwork or Fiverr for small projects, this can give you some regular income while you grow your other ideas.
 
With $500, focus on a small niche digital product or micro-SaaS and spend most effort on distribution , because consistent income comes from selling, not just building.
