Over the past few months, I’ve come to notice some development across major CEXs, you might have also taken note of the major CEXs launching new platforms. For instance, we’ve seen the Binance Alpha feature, Bitget also added Onchain feature while Bybit added the Onchain Earn also.

Personally, i’ve explored all three out of curiosity and I concluded to call them the CEXs Layer-2 because basically they have made the crypto space more interesting and rewarding. Yes, i like exploring and so far it has been to my benefit. Been trading and receiving some extra rewards on the side as i also participated in a few trading competitions also, the current one been the ongoing $AB challenge but i would like to know if you also explored these platforms, how was the experience for you ?

Have a bit of cash in couple of CEXs, but be careful bro. They can easily freeze all your assets, and they can go under and you will lose everything (cough FTX cough). I would advise against putting all your coins in one exchange.

Freeze? This isn't the first time I've heard this, but I don't think it happens to exchanges like Bitget or Binance unless they find something unusual, which may require you to verify your identity. Regarding the challenge the OP mentioned, I did some research, and it seems legit. It's a better use of time than farming Alpha Points – someone can easily enter the onchain challenge and have a chance to share $50,000 in $BGB.

I'm thinking all these crypto exchanges trying to do their own on-chain stuff might just bomb. Centralized exchanges should just stick to being centralized, not try to spin up a DEX. We saw what happened with OKX, right? They had a massive headache when hackers washed some ByBit's stolen funds through their DEX.

What's actually more interesting to me these days are the crypto payment processing centers. They're really branching out, like Cryptomus, doing P2P and exchange trading now. Because they've got tons of liquidity baked in, their fees and commissions are way better than what you get from the "fat cats" like Binance, or frankly, any of the top ten exchanges.
