Hey guys ive been reading a lot about ad chaos since marc is givving us the zucc and drying up the bank account.
The whole andromeda update is fucking people up since february this year with inconsistent results and sometimes burning down the balance in 1 hour and so on.
i wonder is here anyone whos dropshipping health or beauty niche who found a effective way to test ads? and is it normal that if you change the country that the cpm gets ridicilous high?
i launched a campaing yesterday in Canada for beauty bundles and the CPM was round about 60$ cpc about 12$ so i wonder is it the pixel or me or marc?
as many of you know the comunity is infamous for gatekeeping but if anyone can help me out i would be super greatfull.

Yeah, things have been unstable since the update. $60 CPM in Canada is high but not unusual now. Could be the pixel or Meta itself. I’m also in beauty and testing small budget CBOs with manual bids seems to help. Happy to share ideas.

I think CPM $60 is quite high. And to reduce it, you need to optimize more about customer portrait, advertising location, content, media. I think you need to check everything again to see where the problem lies. When you have good content, good media, detailed customer portrait, good things will definitely come to you..,

60 Bucks is just crazy to me, i mean bro you know dropshiping i have to test fast i cant test when i get like 1,5% ctr with 50$ cpm that be like 10 people hahaha cant get any conlcusion out of this. i was thinking of trying small budget too and just let it run for longer instead of pushing it to spend money.
i also seem clips where they say go for ABO since the ai is so unstable and favours ads to early to heavily idk men, its to much information and like no "standard" way that atleast semi works.

yeh bro think the same the thing is im quite unexperienced and on the other hand there are 20 people saying 20 different things. its quite fucked up now

High CPMs and CPCs like these are usually a sign of poorly trained pixels or creatives that aren’t really relevant to your target audience. When you change regions, the system needs time to re-optimize, so it’s understandable that you’ll see a spike in costs. You can split your campaigns, testing different angles, audiences, and times of day to identify bottlenecks. The system has also become less predictable lately, so it’s not uncommon to burn through your budget in a matter of hours—the key is to keep testing in check and not scale too quickly.

Yes, CPMs can spike when targeting countries like Canada, especially in competitive niches like beauty. The Andromeda update has made testing harder, so try using CBO with broad targeting and strong creatives to get better results. Pixel maturity and ad history also impact performance—don’t rely on just one variable.

With content and media, I have to weigh the pros and cons before I give advice. For testing, it makes sense to split an account into 5 campaigns to test, and for each campaign, you should test different customer personas. That's what my client is doing.

DONE, thanks!

Yeah, you're definitely not alone — ad stability has been all over the place lately, especially post-Andromeda. CPM spikes like that often happen when switching geos, especially Tier 1 like Canada. Pixel history and account trust level play a huge role too.
In my experience, a few things help:
  • Test with low budgets and stable proxies to avoid random spikes.
  • Warm accounts slowly, especially with fresh pixels.
  • Don’t scale too aggressively — it triggers red flags fast.

YOUR CPM is expensive probably due to New Account / weak pixel Creative not attractive enough for users, target too broad.

It’s not uncommon to see CPM spikes after switching regions, especially in the beauty and wellness niches where competition is fierce. After a recent update, delivery became inconsistent, causing many campaigns to burn through budgets without gaining valuable data. Some have improved performance by segmenting campaigns by niche interests, reducing audience overlap, and resetting their entire tracking process to avoid pixel skew. Controlling the frequency of impressions and avoiding aggressive scaling from the start can also help keep CPMs at a more reasonable level.

You need to check your ad copy and pixel, those are the two main reasons why you can't come to a conclusion.

Hey, I totally get where you’re coming from—Marc’s changes and the Andromeda update have been messing with ad performance across the board since February. The crazy CPM spikes, like what you’re seeing in Canada, are unfortunately pretty common right now, especially in niches like health and beauty.

When testing ads, it’s crucial to also look beyond just the pixel and ad setup—sometimes the market itself and audience saturation play a big role. For dropshipping in health or beauty, try narrowing your target and testing smaller segments before scaling.

Also, if you’re into web design or running your own store, optimizing your landing pages to improve user experience and load speed can help improve your overall conversion rates and possibly reduce costs.

Hope that helps, and don’t worry about the gatekeeping—this community can be tough but there are always good people willing to share real tips!

A $60 CPM is high — you should review your targeting, location, content, and media. With strong creatives and clear audience insight, results will improve.

so the cost is 60 dollars then it is quite high you need to optimize your campaign closer to your target audience need to check everything again See where the problem is if you have core content then your cost will automatically decrease

Your costs are quite high or optimize your campaign and focus on your goals to optimize your content and increase customer reach

$60 is a pretty high cost. Check your campaign to see if it is targeting the target audience effectively. Create content to reduce costs and reach more customers. Or run small campaigns to find the optimal campaign.
