This weird cycle started around 2023—but if I’m being honest, the last time I truly committed to something long-term was years ago.
One month, I’m deep in building a blog, tweaking SEO, learning how to rank. The next, I’ve convinced myself launching a SaaS is the big play. Then I’m binge-reading Reddit threads like I’m training for a content Olympics, and before I know it, I’m knee-deep in PBN setups like I’m some kind of underground SEO warlord.
Every single time, it starts the same: full-on obsession. I go all in. I get hyped. I see small wins. But then… the voice kicks in.
“Wait—is this even worth it? What if this isn’t it?”
Boom. Pivot. Again.
It’s like I’m addicted to the spark—the rush of a new idea, a fresh start, the illusion of potential. But when it’s time to commit long enough to see real results? I bail. Not because I’m lazy. Because I’m scared.
Scared that I’ll waste time. Scared that I’ll go all-in and still end up nowhere. So I hedge my bets by jumping to the next shiny thing.
I know consistency is the secret sauce. Everyone says it. But knowing isn’t doing.
Anyone else stuck in this endless loop of short sprints? How do you shut down the doubt and stay the course—even when it feels like you might be betting on the wrong thing?
