How to advertise my Blackhat software tool

Hello to this wonderful community! I have developed a piece of software that I’d like to promote. Unfortunately, it is a black hat tool, so I assume I should avoid using Facebook ads, as it doesn’t comply with Facebook’s policies.


Can anyone suggest effective ways to increase its visibility and help people discover it? I currently have a public GitHub repository with relevant keywords in the README and all the necessary information, but that doesn’t seem to be enough.

Focus on niche forums like BHW where your target users hang out Reddit can work too if you join the right subreddits and post value before promoting.. Create a simple landing page or blog that explains the tool with clean branding and SEO friendly content Use YouTube to show how the tool works without naming it directly in the title.. Also reach out to small influencers in the space or run Telegram groups where users can test and share feedback That builds trust and word of mouth faster than paid ads ever could in this niche

Hey that's a tricky situation. Facebook ads are definitely a no-go for black hat stuff yeah. Since you have a GitHub repo that's a good start. Maybe try getting involved in some relevant online forums or communities not the squeaky clean ones you know? Posting there subtly not directly advertising but answering questions and mentioning your tool when it's actually helpful could work. Also have you looked into any cybersecurity or ethical hacking focused platforms or subreddits? Those might be good places to get some eyeballs on your work but tread carefully haha. My suggestion would be to promote your software on relevant subreddits. If possible, comment on relevant posts that are already ranking on Google, so you can get some instant traffic from it.

I would open a thread offering a trial version / limited access software to BHW members. It would allow me to get real customer feedback and take pulse of the market. If things are positive, then one of the best ways you can promote/sell your blackhat tool on the internet is by opening a shop at the BHW marketplace.

i believe discord channels ban user who try to promote software or anything related with links same with telegram.

yeah fb ads def a no-go for blackhat tools, they'll nuke u fast. if it's on github, make sure it's also on niche forums like this one, hackernews, maybe some subreddits where it fits in (but go soft, not direct promo). also try launching it on sites like producthunt under a “research” or “utility” angle. SEO some medium articles or blog posts with soft CTAs can help too. telegram channels or discord groups in your niche can bring solid targeted traffic. just gotta be lowkey but visible in the right spots.

It's not direct telegram ads. The site has some contacts who manually post your text/link/image in their channel for promotion. You can create your own channel and use these promotions to grow it.

Promote on niche forums like BHW. Use Reddit subs under alt with care. Add SEO to GitHub desc, README, and wiki. Drop it in TG groups, discords, or blogs that cover your niche. Use Medium-style writeups for how to use it with keywords. Avoid FB, IG, and G Ads. Focus on organic + community trust.
