hello newbie here, i wanna ask is facebook policy now can’t change email nor add new contact without code from old email or phone ? i have thousand fb but i can’t change email bcs i can’t find old email in order to get otp to change password. i mean i created by myself but using temporary email 3/4 years ago. thanks in advance

Its so hard to use that fb account, you cannot add more email. phone if you do not remember or use temporary mail for that account. Just skip it and get a new one, it will be more easier.

We also experienced same thing like this. Unfortunately we weren't able to change new email coz it needs a code from the old email. It's better to have access to the old email attached to it.

it's hard when you don't have access to your old email and phone number. i think you should create a new account

Instead of changing the old email, you just need to add a new one. Try this way
1. Log in to Facebook using the account you currently have access to.
2. Go to Settings & Privacy → Settings → Account Center → Personal details → Contact info.
3. Add a new email: select “Add another email,” enter the new address, and Facebook will send a confirmation code to that email.
4. Verify the new email using the OTP (one-time password) that Facebook sends.
5. (If needed) After adding the new email, you can set it as your primary email and remove the old one — but only do this after the new email has been successfully verified.
- Facebook does not require an OTP sent to your old email or phone number, but it does require verification of the new email.
- If two-factor authentication (2FA) is enabled, Facebook may ask you to enter your current password to complete the change.
