Hello Guys,

I have a very old LinkedIn account, verified and with premium membership.
I have been using that account for some time, and one day they restricted it based on community policy for some reason.

They didn't notify me or warn me via email; they just did it without any notice.

I'm trying to send them a support ticket, but the process is very slow.
Does anyone have any real advice regarding this?

Know of any connections?

Yeah, LinkedIn’s been acting weird lately — I’ve seen a few people get restricted for no clear reason. Could be too many connection requests or just their system being overly sensitive. Try appealing and keep it short and professional. Sometimes they fix it, sometimes they don’t say a word. Super frustrating.

That sucks getting hit out of nowhere, especially with a legit, premium LinkedIn account, feels like being ghosted by a platform you were loyal to.

Here’s what you can realistically do:
  1. Keep submitting tickets through their Help Center. Be polite, firm, and clear. Mention the lack of warning and emphasize that you're a paying user. Repetition helps one ticket per few days won’t hurt.
  2. Use Twitter/X for pressure. Tag @LinkedInHelp and explain the situation publicly. They’re often faster there because it’s visible.
  3. Reach out via LinkedIn’s business email: If you're a Premium user, look through your billing emails sometimes those have real contact addresses. If not, try [email protected].
  4. Connections? Unless you know someone who works at LinkedIn (not just someone with a job title), there’s no magic button. Forums or Discord groups with former LinkedIn employees might help, but be careful lots of scammers prey on desperate users here.
  5. Backup plan: Start building a secondary profile, just in case this one doesn’t get restored. Reconnect with your key network manually. It’s painful, but better than waiting forever.
If your account was tied to automation, scraping, or aggressive messaging, they’re notoriously strict. But if not, you might have a shot. Just keep the pressure up quietly waiting doesn’t work.

This kind of sudden restriction is becoming more common on LinkedIn, even for old, verified, premium accounts. Their automated systems can flag certain behaviors, even mistakenly, especially if you’ve done outreach, bulk connections, or any automation that crosses a threshold.
If you didn’t get an email, check the "Help" section under your restricted account for any appeal option. Otherwise, one of the fastest paths is actually via Twitter through @LinkedInHelp, they’re often much more responsive than the standard ticketing system. Mention your premium status and account history when reaching out, that can help your case.

LinkedIn has been cracking down lately even legitimate accounts are flagged. I recommend avoiding aggressive outreach and warming up your profile slowly.

I am also a VIP member but still got banned suddenly like you. I don't know why I was banned so I can learn from it later. Have you got your account back? I have sent a request to the system for support but it has not been resolved yet. Hope to find a way to completely resolve this problem soon.

When I write good posts on Linkedin or with my video content + reshare 2 bigger influecners posts all this 3x times a week will be an aggressive outreach for a personal page in the eyes of Linkedin?
