I’m curious — what kind of websites need this type of payment integration? Is it related to gray-area industries? Can someone explain this?

Well, basically any websites selling good and services Most people integrate Stripe/PayPal their websites because these are the easiest payment gateways to integrate. I'm not sure if I understood your question, tho.

As far as I know, Stripe/PayPal integration doesn’t require traffic data on Similarweb — but I’m not sure if I might be mistaken.
