Help Converting eBay Classified

I know that quite a few people are using eBay's classifieds to promote affiliate products- and I have given this another go, but am still not having success.

What I did was take an affiliate product that I am a fan of; take snippets of their sales page and compiled them into a new "sales page" and posted it as an eBay classified with a Buy Now button that takes them to the checkout with my affiliate link. (Niche: Make Money)

Overnight, I had a good number of hits to the listing; but tracking is showing no clicks to the buy now /checkout page.

Does anyone have suggestions on how to be successful with this approach?

The classified option is only available for select categories... Classified format became the standard for ebooks when eBay haulted digital delivery items... so try listing (sell an item) in the ebook category and it will be an option for you. "thanks"

Yeah, some dude released some ebooks about it a while ago, I think the market is pretty much f'ed up now thanks to massive advertisers and little profit from Clickbank =\ (And the problem is the items on clickbank, unless you're making the squeeze pages, most of their homepage look like crap and pretty bad conversion.)


I'd say if you're serious about it then you'd probably need a real affliate like NeverBlue imo. Just my two cents after doing CPA on Google Adwords =\

As the guide says you need to first collect their email and offer them a free guide of some sort before you can market to them. People aren't just going to buy from someone they don't trust or have any rapport with.

List building is much more profitable in the long run and can keep a steady revenue stream coming in for years. If your subscribers (customers) trust you enough you can send them to the desert to buy sand

Haha above post, you spill the secret to 2010 IM, now no one will buy unless you build trust, and list building technique is another knowledge of it's own. I suggest OP you can easily grab a free ebook about it in the Member's Download section, it should cover pretty well and build private lists.
