Where are Web3 apps actually heading now?

I used to hear a lot about Web3 projects like ENS, HORIZEN, STEEM, and others. They had big visions back then, but now they’re rarely talked about in the crypto space. It seems like the hype has faded, and most people are just chasing airdrops and quick cash rather than truly believing in these projects.

That said, I’m still interested in a few Web3 projects. One I recently added to my list is called IDOL. I came across $IDOL and decided to read more about it. It’s tied to a platform that blends Web3 tools with entertainment and fan interaction—things like content creation, community voting, and token-based rewards for creators.

Behind $IDOL is a project called MEET48, which combines AI-generated content with a user-led media platform. It’s also linked to a big fan base from traditional entertainment, which makes it stand out from typical DeFi projects.

So now I’m curious. are you someone who usually just chases airdrops, or do you actually take time to explore and believe in Web3 projects?

Stuff with real utility, like decentralized storage or identity, seems to be where it’s heading. I agree with you too. These days AI, Defi, memes are the key players in the industry.. for IDOL I'm observing the PA, and imo it's set for entry.. which Re you focusing on rn.
