Hey guys,
I just wanted to share a quick fix I came up with for a problem I was having with affiliate links.
Every time someone clicked my affiliate links from my main website, they’d get a browser verification screen — like the kind Hostinger or other hosts show for security. It looked weird, and honestly, I think it was scaring people off.

So instead of sending people directly to affiliate links from my main site, I created a small, separate WordPress site on a subdomain (like go.mywebsite.com) just for redirection.
It’s super simple — the new site uses the Redirection plugin to forward visitors to the actual affiliate links. This way:
I recorded a step-by-step video of the full process — from setting up the subdomain, installing WordPress, configuring the plugin, and even bulk importing links if you’ve got a lot of them.
Here’s the video if anyone wants to check it out:
I used Hostinger to host the site (cheap and works well). If anyone wants the discount link I used, just shoot me a message — not dropping it here because I know affiliate links aren’t allowed unless you’re Jr. VIP.
Anyway, it’s a small setup, but it solved a real issue for me. Hopefully it helps someone else too.
Let me know if you have questions or run into the same problem — happy to share more details if needed.
Cheers!

- No browser checks
- The links look cleaner (like go.mywebsite.com/hostinger)
- I can track clicks
- And the user experience feels smoother
