Compareing Ethereum L2 projects, it’s interesting to see Bitcoin also growing to have its L2 projects. Personally, i won’t make conclusions yet until i fully grasp their utility.
Ethereum has Optimism, Arbitrum and Polygon while Bitcoin has Merlin chain, Starks and BSquared network. They have all been good as their focused on advancing Bitcoin’s scalability and utility through Layer-2 solution.
I’m particularly interested in Bitcoin L2s especially BSquared because Ethereum’s L2s are common already but reportedly BSquared is 50x cheaper and 300x faster than the Bitcoin mainnet and it was able to achieve this through off-chain transaction batching and ZK-Rollups. I’m definitely finding out more about BTC L2s but do you think they’ve been getting the job done so far ?
