I checked sitemap for 2 of my new websites and found out this error.
Pls how do I fix it?

install rankmath or yoast. The problem might solve eventually.

and yes wordpress itself provide sitemap by default.

He's correct. The sitemaps created by Rank math and Yoast are very much correct format and valids. Unless you mess it up with the robots txt

I didn’t do nothing , installed like I’ve always . Then checked my tool and saw the error

what does your actual sitemap content say?
can you even see it if you put in the url?

It looks like your sitemap has format or content-type issues—try validating it with an online tool and ensure it's properly linked in your robots.txt. Also, resubmit it via Google Search Console after fixing.
