XUID.ru is out of the picture: domains are not verified and are therefore suspended after a while;
BPW.sc is OK, but it's too expensive.
AtakDomain: for some reason it couldn't register or maybe it refused because the domain name contains the word "porn", since porn is banned in Turkey.
Is there another provider that registers a .su domain for less?

Yes, both .ru and .su domain registration/renewal prices got increased from end of last year.

There is no special requirement on .ru and .su domain registration.

If you need bulk register .ru and .su domain names, in general upgrading your account to reseller tier can save you much money.

I've found prq.se, which got back to me promptly and registered my domain name quickly.
