Guys who are managing crypto related telegram channels where do you usually get your traffic from? If it’s similar related groups how much do you pay per subscriber?

For traffic, Twitter and Reddit still work if you play it smart. Drop value, join convos, and mix in soft shills. Paid shoutouts from smaller crypto pages can move the needle too. But it's better to stay away from the usual bot traffic unless you’re cool with pumping fake numbers.

Fake subscribers and unreliable traffic won’t bring you any value.

My recommendation is to use a professional marketing tool or Telegram ads.

If you're doing CEE/Russian Crypto TG you can get a lot of organic engagement since the audience is pretty TON native & comfortable being on Telegram all day. With other regions it's definitely harder. Try partnering with or running ads through some prominent mini-apps, the cost per users isn't user high (or at least it wasn't late last year) though the traffic can be low quality depending on the region.

no i am not talking about fake ones, i am talking about advertising in telegram channels with the similar audience

Yeah i am familiar with how it works in Russia/CEE, i was just wondering how people in North America get a local traffic

Do you want North American traffic specifically, or basically any region other than Russia/CEE?

the best way is to buy ads straight from a channel in your niche

sub cost depends on your niche — for humor it can be like $0.01, for crypto $1–10

I run a memecoin channel and I get good eyes from spydefi, everytime I make a good call I notice a spike in new followers.

I'd say def worth listing/promoting your channel on niche crypto channels like spydefi, kolscope etc cause it gives better access to your target audience

crypto TG traffic - best results always came from direct channel promos (shoutouts, AMAs), especially in niche groups
for English-speaking audience, Reddit crypto subs, Twitter threads, and listing channels like Spydefi and Kolscope been solid af, tested personally, decent quality subs for fair prices :)

Hey, Most traffic comes from promos in similar crypto groups, X (Twitter), and Reddit. For paid subs, rates usually range from $0.10–$0.50 each, depending on quality and region.

Most of the genuine growth I’ve seen in crypto channels comes from doing shout-out swaps with other deal-driven or news-focused groups in your niche. You reach out to a handful of channels that already have active crypto audiences—anything from token-specific updates to DeFi alerts—and agree to trade pinned posts or banners for a week. The subscribers you pull in that way tend to stick around because they’re already interested in crypto, not just chasing a freebie.
In terms of cost, you’re looking at anywhere between five to fifteen cents per subscriber on average. Channels with 5–10K members usually charge around $100–$200 for a week-long shoutout, which translates to roughly 1,000–2,500 joins depending on how savvy their audience is. The more specialized the group (say, a DAO governance channel or an NFT community), the higher the price can climb—sometimes up to $0.20 a sub—but those subscribers often have better engagement and conversion on affiliate or token-sale links down the road.

Provide real value on other mediums like X, reddit, fb and have something in your channel they would not want to miss.

For example: Provide the detail recent fundamental outlook of crypto market (real value) then you have realtime news ticker of cryptos which they won't want to miss if they are actively trading.
