The best way to stay safe is to stick to a few simple habits:

• Take a bit of time to look into the seller, check their history, reviews/feedback, and their overall activity.
• Try to keep communication on BlackHat World as much as possible so everything is documented.
• Always keep a record of your chats and transactions, just in case you need them later.
• If something does go wrong, you can open a Dispute Resolution thread, and our team will review it.

Taking these steps up front will save you a lot of trouble.

And never make deals outside of the BHW and with non-upgraded members.

I made my first purchase successfully based on what I’ve learned from other threads, and I was able to receive proper support with personalized answers to my questions.

I’ve also been approached by some people (I can’t say for sure if they were scams since I ignored them), but this guide really reinforces and teaches many valuable things.
