Hi,

I want to know if there are any free ways that you can use to find out the best performing page of a competitors.

Like, which of his blogs are performing better or getting the most traffic?

Any tip would be appreciated

No secret trick really, but tools like Ahrefs, or SEMrush can give solid estimates of a competitor’s traffic, top pages, and where their traffic is coming from. I usually look at their best performing keywords and backlinks to find content gaps. It’s all about smart observation and using the right tools.

I think you can find those details in tools like semrush, Ahrefs, but not sure, please do check.

Yeah availabe! I will suggest Ahrefs, SEMrush to check traffic.

Ahrefs, Semrush and Similar Web can be useful to give you some estimates, but it's not that accurate

Yes — use free tools like SimilarWeb (free tier), Ubersuggest, or Ahrefs' free site audit to spot top pages. Also, search site:competitor.com + keywords on Google to see what ranks organically. Check blog engagement via social shares or comments for clues. Not 100% accurate, but insightful for zero cost.

even premium tools are inaccurate about it...free tools will give you just a rough estimate

Mostly I use SEMrush for this — it gives a good idea of top pages and traffic. Honestly, there’s no big secret or trick. Just plug the domain in, go to “Pages” or “Top Pages” section, and you’ll see what’s working. If you don’t have SEMrush paid version, try SEMrush, Similarweb or Ubersuggest free version.

I've tried Similarweb's 7-day free trial. Found it useful.

Yes, there are several free tools you can use to identify which pages or blog posts are performing best on a competitor’s website. Tools like Ubersugges, Ahrefs Free Tools, and BuzzSumo give limited but useful insights into top-performing content based on traffic estimates, backlinks, or social shares. You can also use Google search operators to manually spot high-ranking pages. SimilarWeb and SEMrush offer free versions that show top pages, though with restricted access. While none of these tools provide full analytics without a paid plan, combining them can give you a strong overview of what’s working for your competition.

You can use ahrefs and semrush to check the traffic of the website. But for free options you can use ubbersuggest or similarweb also help a bit.

I don't think there are any free tools that provide a full backlink check. But you can buy access to group SEO tools at a low cost Ahrefs and Semrush will give you enough data for analysis.

Yes, you can estimate competitors’ traffic using tools like SimilarWeb, Ahrefs, SEMrush and SpyFu.

You could start with Ahrefs or SEMrush, it is cheap and really helpful.

You should probably check SEMrush. It’s a useful tool for analyzing competitors. It allows you to see their best-performing pages, the keywords they rank for, their estimated traffic, and the overall performance of their content.
