Is there anyone like me who added a card to the account and it became a prepaid payment method? How can I switch to a postpaid payment method?

Facebook sometimes auto-assigns cards as prepaid depending on the type or issuing bank. To switch to postpaid, you usually need to remove the current card, then add a new payment method (ideally a credit card, not debit or virtual). Sometimes using a card from a different bank works better. Also, business manager accounts have more flexibility with billing setups if you’re not using one yet.

Yes, I have tried many ways and still get prepaid payment method so I still have no solution. What card are you using to add card?

What ended up working for me was using a real credit card from a major bank (I used a Chase Visa). Every time I tried with Revolut or any virtual cards, it defaulted to prepaid. Also, make sure you're adding the card inside a proper Business Manager setup as sometimes personal ad accounts just won’t give you the postpaid option no matter what

oh so that's it. but i don't have a chase visa card right now how can i get one

Yeah, that’s probably the issue then. Facebook really prefers traditional credit cards from big banks. If you’re not in the U.S. or can’t get a Chase card, maybe try a local bank that offers real credit (not debit or prepaid). Also heard Amex and Capital One work well too if those are available where you are. Worst case, see if a friend or family member can help you out with adding their card just to get things rolling.
