When I look at the live broadcasts opened by rival channels, 2-3 hour live broadcasts are watched by minimum 50k and maximum 500k. I set up the live broadcast from OBS, but maximum 30 people come, sometimes not at all, I think I missed something, can you help me about this?

sometimes it need to increase live broadcast with invite link posted on other pages and forum to help increase views on the live broadcast.
people around the location and followers can only get notify about the broadcast.
I forgot to mention that I was talking about the shorts broadcast.

The gap is really big, it's not easy to suddenly increase from a few dozen viewers to tens of thousands.

Upload a 30-second teaser clip about your upcoming live, show a highlight or topic, so viewers know what to expect. Pin that teaser to your channel homepage and set a “Live Soon” notification, so subscribers get notified and join when you start.

Those views are coming from people scrolling, some may stay for like 10 seconds and scroll away but they are still counted as views... The more you go live, the more Youtube pushes your live streams. It's a lot easier to get views going live using the 9:16 format now and so many are doing it in the gaming niche

yeah, sounds like you're missing the push from the algo. most of those big live streams use strong thumbnails, titles with trending keywords, and often loop engaging content to boost watch time. some also run views to get the stream picked up. make sure your tags, description, and category are all optimized too. and check your stream settings, bitrate, resolution, and no copyright issues. anyone here running lives successfully and willing to share setup tips?
