will i get views if i post content using an API

As the title says, I’ve been playing around with n8n for a while now, and I’ve got one big question:
If I use it to post to social media like IG or Threads, will I actually get views?
Not just talking about pushing content I mean, will it actually show up and get real engagement, or will the algorithm nerf my reach because I’m posting through automation?
