Disclaimer: I had got the first part of the eBook. I recently had the opportunity to dive into Part 1 of Prompt profits. It's important to note upfront that this review is based solely on this initial section, so I can't speak to any advanced strategies or the full scope that subsequent parts might offer.My initial impression is that this guide, even in its first part, sets out with a clear objective: to provide an accessible roadmap for individuals, particularly those new to the field, looking to transform their knack for crafting effective prompts into $$$.
What I liked?:
The real standout s, is the emphasis on a "Reverse Engineering Method." The guide proposes a different approach: analyze what's already successful in AI-driven marketplaces, understand the demand, and then create something that offers unique value or improvement. This is not something you can just copy paste, rather about being smart and applying your twists. Furthermore, the inclusion of case studies with actual numbers provides a motivational glimpse into what's achievable, ranging from few hundres to few thousand dollars.
Besides, there are also some nice guides and tips on how to make your prompt better, and get better outputs. So even if you are not looking to make money by making prompts, you can utilise this to make your AI prompts better.
Points to Consider:
Based on this first section, the guide does feel bit fluffed. Some concepts are reiterated, but given that it is being targeted towards new comers as well, this can be ignored for now.
It's also crucial for prospective readers to understand that this is not a "set and forget" path to riches. The strategies discussed, even the clever reverse engineering, need constant testing out things on your own. The reverse engineering is kind of nice, and I see many use cases for that. So I tried it on few images and the results are amazing. It will be useful to get an initial prompt, and then input this to AI for making it better which will result in super optimised result from AI.
Preliminary Thoughts (Based on Part 1):
Even from just Part 1, this guide shows definite promise for those already dabbling with AI tools and looking for a structured way to monetize their creativity. It offers a blueprint, particularly with its reverse engineering focus and marketplace insights. However, it's not going to be straight forward. Success will clearly depend on the your dedication, creativity, and willingness to put in the work.
I'm certainly intrigued to see how the later parts build upon this. For now, if you're a beginner in the prompt monetisation space and are looking to monetise or make your skills better, this is worth a shot.

Not "Set and Forget":
You’ll still need to test your prompts, write proper descriptions, create example outputs, format everything nicely, and maybe even outsource parts. It’s a legit hustle – not a “push-button” cash machine.
Grey Hat Vibes:
The core method involves finding existing high-performing prompts, tweaking them, and selling your own version. This walks a fine ethical line. If done creatively, it's valid. If done lazily, it’s just repackaging. Use your judgment.

Not a scam. Not recycled trash. Just a guide with legit tactics that can work – if you put in the effort. The reverse engineering angle is clever, and the examples are motivating. But don't expect magic. You’ll need creativity, consistency, and some grind.
