I'm trying to figure out what to search for in the marketplace because I keep seeing this strategy but don't know the official term.

Here's what I'm observing:

A brand called SleepZee completely dominates their brand search results, but not in the typical way. Instead of just ranking their main site, they have search results from completely random high-authority domains like GitHub, Chess.com, and other unrelated sites.

The weird part? These results don't seem to be linking back to their main site in the content - meaning they're not looking for backlinks, they just want the search result there.

Also seeing this video thing: In Google's video carousel, they have videos that look normal but aren't YouTube. When you click them, they redirect straight to a checkout page instead of playing a video. Maybe showing Google bots a video schema and others a redirect.

My questions:
  • Is there a specific name for this type of SERP saturation? Is it just High DA guest post?
  • What would you search for in the marketplace to find someone who does this?
  • Is this a common service or pretty niche?
  • Anyone know what tools/methods are typically used for this?
I'm assuming this is more available than I think, I just don't know what keywords to use when looking for it. Any insights would be helpful!

Thanks for any guidance on what to call this stuff.

super interesting , I’ve seen stuff like that too and always wondered how it’s done. It feels more advanced than just guest posting. eould love to know what to actually search for to find people offering this!

My Google doesn't show the same results, I see a lot of EMDs with various TLDs, but no parasites (chess, github, etc). Regardless, it might be any one of these...

- parasite SEO (this would explain the chess and github sites popping up for the brand keywords, although I don't understand why there are no links in those parasites)...
- partnerships of some kind with those 3rd party sites (chess, github, etc)... highly unlikely that this is the truth, but I've mentioned in, just in case...
- some unannounced google update that messes up the SERPs and / or google making some tests with this specific brand...
- link injections / site hijacking of some kind

Just my theories...

This sounds like advanced SERP domination using high-authority placements and schema manipulation often called ‘brand SERP optimization

What you're seeing is often called SERP hijacking or branded SERP manipulation. It's a mix of parasite SEO (using high-authority sites like GitHub) and cloaked redirects (for the video trick). Try searching for terms like parasite SEO, SERP domination, or brand takeover SEO in the marketplace. It’s niche but growing some sellers specialize in it under "High DA property ranking" or “authority stacking.” Pretty clever stuff.

Sounds like parasite SEO to me based on what you described, where you're hitchhiking high DA websites to get their traffic.

this brand has lots of negative reviews, why would anyone try to dominate serps with such a bad product.

This tactic is often called SERP Spoofing or Parasite SEO — using high-authority platforms to dominate brand-related queries. Search for terms like “parasite SEO,” “SERP domination,” or “brand hijacking.” It’s niche but available through advanced blackhat SEO providers in marketplaces.

This topic is always related to backlinks and traffic. First, strengthening the site with backlinks from high DA/PA value websites is crucial, followed by sending reference or keyword-based traffic. With this approach, we can observe positive momentum in websites.

What you're seeing is often referred to as SERP spoofing, brand SERP takeover, or parasite SEO. It’s not just high DA guest posts,it’s more like hijacking search real estate using random authority domains that Google already trusts. The lack of backlinks confirms they’re optimizing purely for SERP presence, not link juice.
The video carousel trick sounds like a cloaked video schema setup, maybe even dynamic redirects shown only to bots vs users.
To find these services in the Marketplace, look for phrases like “Google saturation”, “SERP hijacking”, or “parasite SEO”. It’s not super rare, but very few offer it at scale.
Also, if you're trying to replicate or test similar setups, mobile proxies are really helpful for simulating legit bot traffic and avoiding bans during schema/redirect testing.

That's called SERP spoofing or parasite SEO- Search for "Parasite SEO" or "SERP takeover" in the marketplace to find similar services.

This Black Hat SEO technique is commonly called "cloaking" — showing different content to users and search engines. It tricks Google into ranking pages by showing optimized content to crawlers, while real visitors see something else, often unrelated or spammy.

Sounds like a mix of parasite SEO and SERP spoofing. They're using high-authority sites to rank for branded terms without backlinks, just to dominate the search results. The video redirect trick is likely cloaking with video schema—showing bots one thing and users another.

If you're looking to hire this kind of work, try searching for:
  • Parasite SEO
  • SERP domination
  • High DA page rentals
  • Cloaking services
It’s a niche tactic, mostly found in underground SEO communities—not your typical Fiverr gig. Definitely on the black hat side, so tread carefully.

This is called Black Hat SEO (BH SEO) — it involves using unethical or manipulative tactics like keyword stuffing, cloaking, or spam backlinks to game search engine rankings. These methods can lead to penalties or site bans.

This BH (Black Hat) SEO technique is often called "keyword stuffing" or "cloaking", depending on the method used. It involves manipulating search engine rankings with deceptive or spammy tactics.

Any ideas?
You're describing a pretty advanced form of SERP manipulation, often known as Parasite SEO or Branded SERP Saturation.

The technique you mentioned — dominating Google with content from high-authority platforms like GitHub, Chess.com, Medium, etc. — is not about backlinks, as you correctly noticed. It's about controlling the first page for brand queries by leveraging trusted domains that Google ranks quickly.

✅ What this strategy is called:

  • Parasite SEO (posting content on high-DA platforms to rank)
  • Branded SERP Hijacking / Saturation
  • Authority Domain Hijacking
  • Reputation Firewall / Web2.0 SERP control
  • Sometimes also wrapped into Web Design & SEO reputation packages if it's for local businesses

What to search for in marketplaces:

Try keywords like:

  • "Parasite SEO service"
  • "Branded SERP domination"
  • "Page 1 Google control"
  • "High DA content placement"
  • "Web 2.0 SEO stacking"
  • "Reputation management SEO"
  • "Authority stacking for branded terms"

Some black-hat/gray-hat providers might bundle this under "Web Design + SEO" or "Online Presence Management", especially in local SEO contexts.

Tools/Methods typically used:

  • Public posting on GitHub gists, Chess.com blogs, Pastebin, Medium, Reddit, etc.
  • Automated tools like Scrapebox, GSA, AI content generators
  • Schema generators (for video carousel hijacking)
  • Cloaking (showing video schema to Google, but redirecting users to checkout/sales page)
  • Redirect scripts and bot-user-agent detection

Is this common?

It's common in aggressive niches (supplements, CBD, adult, crypto) and branded search takeovers, especially for ecommerce brands like SleepZee. It’s still niche, and not every SEO offers it openly due to its borderline nature, but it's becoming more popular.

If you’re in web design, offering this as an add-on SEO package to your clients could be a powerful way to control their branded SERPs and outrank competitors—especially for local or personal brand names.

Happy to chat more if you're looking to find reliable vendors or want to test this out for your own project. It’s powerful stuff if used correctly.

This is called Black Hat SEO—a technique that uses unethical or manipulative tactics like keyword stuffing, cloaking, or spammy backlinks to boost rankings quickly. It's risky and can get sites penalized or banned by search engines.

Exactly, you nailed it—it’s a hybrid of Parasite SEO and SERP spoofing, and it’s all about controlling the first page without relying on traditional backlinks. The video carousel cloaking is especially sneaky but surprisingly effective if done right.

Appreciate the keyword suggestions—“High DA page rentals” and “SERP domination” are gold for digging into this deeper.

I’m mainly in the web design space, but seeing how this strategy could be bundled with branding and SEO packages is super interesting. Clients are always asking how to "own their name" on Google, and this could be a wild (though risky) add-on if handled properly.

Definitely black-hat territory, though—gotta weigh the short-term gain vs long-term risk. Curious to hear if anyone’s seen success using a cleaner variation of this for local businesses or legit projects.
