Google Ads is 50% data, 50% psychology

If your ad doesn’t spark interest in 3 seconds, it’s scrolled past.
Strong hooks, benefits-focused headlines, and urgency always win.
Okey, but how do you handle the title rotation? At this moment you can't control what you can say (okey, you can pin the headline, but then you have lower score and worse expected CTR) except on branding campaigns.

What do you suggest on this?

I think sooner we wouldn't even control the titles of the ads...

True words my man, I would argue all ads are psychology. You have to understand how to grab attention, otherwise you will get scrolled past.
Facts! Every ad is a mini psychology experiment — it’s all about tapping into emotion, timing, and desire. If you don’t hook attention in that first second, you’re invisible. Swipe culture doesn’t wait!

Yeah, it’s a tricky balance right now. Title rotation in PMax can definitely feel like handing over too much control. Pinning gives consistency, but like you said, it can tank performance if overused.

What’s working for us:
Group your asset combinations tightly by intent or audience — so Google has less room to mix and match randomly.
Test variations in isolated campaigns to learn what headlines perform best, then build smarter assets around those patterns.
And yes, accept the direction it's going — prepare for a world where creative inputs become “guidelines,” not rules.

We’re heading toward prompt-like ad creation, not static control. Time to start thinking like AI whisperers.

Data helps you reach the right people. Then you need a strong hook in the first 3 seconds. Show real benefits and add a little deadline pressure. That’s how you win clicks.
