i have been always looking to make money online, and always wanted to learn a skill to earn from it online, so now that i have been learning video editing for like 9 month and being able to make decent videos im still not able to find clients to work with, is there any ways that i can make some small but easy bucks or i just need to keep trying?

What kinda videos are you making?
so me personally i don't make any content but i can edit talking head videos, make intros, make comedy videos and also gaming videos, and editing trading content as well, mostly any kind of edits.

Well finding succes as video editor its hard and you need to have patinence until you build your portofolio ,establish yourself as a profesional in your field as a video editor

I have an idea .Why not work with 2 methods ?

As you know to create profesional videos why to not work also as affiliate marketar

You must choose a niche like : health wealth ,relationship etc and start create videos on youtube and short form content as it can go viral very fast

So you will work half of the time creating videos on your niche etc and half finding clients

So this its a smart strategy as you dont depend on just 1 method .Lets say you have a bad period making sales with your affiliate method then you can find some clients as video editor

where did you advertise your services? are you using apps like Upwork or Fiverr? Usually for freelancers who just got started they find clients through these apps and build their credibility

Finding clients takes time, but while you're building that up, try small gigs on sites like Fiverr, Upwork, or even Reddit communities. You can also edit clips for free for a few micro-creators in exchange for testimonials.

I have been experimenting on Instagram and have realised that great videos get pushed by IG like crazy.

So how about you create videos then do some sort of CPA/OnlyFans/product or something theme page

The next part of my IG journey is learning video editing. You seem to already have that part figured out.

Look for internship or assistant roles where you can gain real world experience and get paid. This can open doors to more clients

Create and sell video templates or presets on sites like Envato or Motion Array.

have you checked whop's pay per 1k views program

Hey, give quickgig sites a shot: Fiverr, Upwork, etc. create simple packages (intros, captions, cuts). Sell stock clips or templates in marketplaces such as Pond5 or Envato. Dive into online forums, FB groups, Discord servers and share your work, sometimes free projects lead to paid gigs. And don't forget about the micro-tasks, like transcribing, subtitling or basic motion graphics and, yes, consistency does pay, so don't give up, continue to groom your portfolio, network and apply for new gigs. Little steps you taketoday create massive momentum later.

Currently, the demand for video editing continues to grow, but competition is also increasingly fierce. Suggestions:
Short term: quickly receive orders through low-threshold channels, accumulate cases and reputation.
Medium term: deeply cultivate 1-2 vertical niche areas and establish technical barriers.
Long term: transform into a resource integrator (such as a studio founder or IP operator) to achieve a leap in income.

Find facebook groups and sub-reddits related to video editing, youtube etc and then offer your service. You can even offer to edit a video for free in order to convert them into long term clients.

subscribe on freelance platform like fiver , build a portfolio and reputation with your skill

ok cool. reddit is a great place to find ideas, niches ,etc. Do you make videos and post on instagram and tiktok? Check out some of those motivational/money niches.
