I've been in the IPTV space for a while now, and if there's one consistent headache, it's payments.

Mainstream processors? Forget it. Anything remotely tied to IPTV gets flagged almost instantly — especially if you're dealing with branded domains or high chargeback regions. I learned early on that Stripe and PayPal are basically useless here unless you enjoy sudden holds and frozen funds.

Tried a few "gray area" providers — some worked for a couple of weeks, others vanished overnight. What actually helped long-term was working with a high-risk payment processor who actually understands the IPTV space. Yes, the fees are higher. Yes, onboarding takes time. But it's either that or chasing sketchy wallets every month.

One lesson: don't rush onboarding. Spend time setting up clean frontends, keep your descriptors neutral, and avoid linking multiple risky projects under the same entity. Most of my rejections early on were because I tried to push too much volume, too fast.

Would be curious how others in similar verticals are handling renewals, chargeback protection lately. This space changes fast.

Solid insights and I totally agree about Stripe and PayPal being a no-go for IPTV. High-risk processors really are the way to go if you want stability. Clean branding and neutral descriptors make a big difference too. Curious what tools you're using now for chargeback management and renewals?

Interested in this... just built out my IPTV website and ready to take traffic on.

What do you mean by clean branding and neutral descriptors? I assume the descriptors is for the description you put in the card payment so Vi$a/M€ don't complain?

How much do high-risk payment processor charge you?
