Google going nuts on my website..

Main keywords keep jumping in to the same high ranked spot, then disappearing again for another 24 hours, then reappearing again around the same time for about 24 hours, then disappearing LOL.

Never seen this, there is no dance, just stable ranks for a day, then gone for the other.

I want to get your guys thoughts on this, is this a good sign? What is this process Google is doing? & should i see my keywords finally stabilziing? This has been going on since last Friday.

Have you done any kind of links recently?
You should see this kind of SERP dance as they get indexed, but once they are all indexed, rankings will be stable!
The same can happen with on-page changes as well!

Could be due to many things, but mainly, it's just a bounce rate "check" that Google performs, most likely, it's re-evaluating your website.

The process is timed almost at the exact hours every time, ranks back up midnight, by 9pm (not a full 24hrs later) they're wiped out again. Happened 3x so far, so my question to you, an evaluation 3x?

It’s a process.

I’ve seen this behavior a few times with websites that are around 4-6 months old. It can last for a while, depending on how much work you’ve done on your website recently.

The time I used to notice something similar in the past, it ranked high when it's day time in the US then drops when it's not. In my case, the page was ranking when the target audience where it seemed optimized for were searching and drops when others from other geolocations are searching.

Some links to this page, ones that are as solid as those ranking on the same page but above yours, would help solidify things.

I don't see this kind of behaviour in our sites, I faced Google dancing to keywords taken 48 to 72 hours to settle down to the usual position. Did test any link campaigns, or something new tried on your website?

Nope! Actually i’ve brought it down to 250ms loading speed & service is reliable

This kind of fluctuation usually happens with newer sites or after things like link building or major content updates. If you have built any links recently, check them if they are actually helping, low quality links can do more harm than good. Also think about whether you have made any on site changes like tweaking internal links, updating content, or speeding up the site. I would suggest looking in Search Console to see if there are any crawl or indexing issues, and maybe check user behavior too, Google might be testing how people are reacting to your pages. It sounds like you’re running into the classic rank volatility (Google’s more or less A/B testing which pages most accurately reflect searcher intent) or oscillating between data-center updates. One morning your keywords skyrocket, the next morning they plummet as Google fine-tunes its signals. It’s not always a bad sign; it simply means Google is in the middle of evaluating your site so wait for a week or two, when the index is “cooled down” and the algorithm roll out finishes, rankings should normalize. If volatility remains after a few weeks, then go deeper into you analytics for crawl errors/wrong robots. txt blocks.

I have a similar situation for one of my websites. It happens every Friday for some reason. My impression gets doubled each Friday, and from the next day it plummets again.

Update; it’s still happening, starting to think Google has me in an endless loop from hell. I’m still gradually building hogh-authority links but as of now it’s really confusing with what’s happening

I constantly enhance any low hanging fruit, e.g; speed, overall quality of tool etc. but i should add that it is a one page site with the exception of legality pages (tos, privacy, etc) is that enough or should i expand topically with other pages
