Free parasites…are they gone?

What’s everyone’s thoughts on this?
Parasites often rank temporarily but have less authority and stability, so relying on them isn’t sustainable. Focus on sustainable backlinks first, then build second or third tier links with parasites.

Reddit is a great source of quality traffic; many people use Reddit to drive niche specific traffic and make sales/leads. In the AI era, I think Quora is more relevant for 2nd/3rd tier link building because nowadays people ask AI questions instead of questioning and reading on Q&A sites.

Reddit still worth it. It can be annoying to deal with their system and potential removed comments by mods, but it's still profitable, just comment in a smart way, avoid spamming links, basic initial steps to make a long lasting comment

Of course not. There are dozens of free parasites come and go every week, every month.
Keep an evey in serp results everyday.
Search for
Top clickbank product + review/reviews
Example search:
Mitolyn review
Find out if top 10/20 results are parasites, then find out if it's free or paid.
Then try to post on it.
The three you mentioned they are time wasters just forget bout them.
i googled n found out https://police.wustl.edu/app/uploads/formidable/5/m87mit.pdf
how can they do this?

Any tips on what steps to take?

For edu links you have to apply as a student i am guessing. Some you may come across hacked edu and gov sites just ignore them.
Yep I don't like messing with US Government those posts will soon be deleted anyway.

Free parasites will always be there.

With that said, the algo on how these ranks have changed a lot since the past.

Content published on reputable + niche related accounts will likely rank better than on brand new account.

It's like shifting sand

well globalnewswire is almost done. I mean i do not see any new posts getting ranked. So its possible that free ones start ranking again when their older ones slide down

That seemed to be the hot new thing didn’t I?

Nothing new you seeing replacing it?

The problem with the free one is everyone find it easy to spam. that's why the free sites become unuseful after the few months.

as paid one required some monetary thing, it works for couple of years.
I think with the free parasites the key is find niche without competitor. Google works the same way with our own sites.
Parasites with low competition niches = $$$

Those pdf files are uploaded via the WP plugin Formidable Forms. Search through the police.wustl.edu subdomain and look for forms that offer a file upload facility. Use the upload facility to upload your pdf file, and keep Chrome devtools open on the network tab to see the request going through - this should give you enough info to work out what the output path of the pdf will be,

Will paid parasite always be the best way to parasite?
Paid parasitism is indeed considered an effective business model in certain situations, especially in environments where traffic and user acquisition costs are high. By paying, one can quickly gain exposure and user base. However, this approach also carries risks, such as excessive dependence and potential market changes. Therefore, considering multiple channels and strategies comprehensively is necessary to achieve sustainable growth and profitability.

They are pretty much alive, do some reversal engineering and see what your competitors are doing
