Coinbase hacked - 15-5-2025

These kinds of headlines are straight-up misleading 'cause it ain't true.

Getting personal info without passwords and all that sensitive stuff isn't really a "hack." Everyone knows our data, especially crypto folks, has been floating around for ages. Think about how much has been stolen over the years. Plus, way more sensitive info leaks legally through social media anyway.
 
Its extremely concerning that these multi billion companies, holding the (financial) data of millions of people are so easily compromised/manipulated to expose their client’s personal information.

They should spend more on security but they ignore it.
 
Cold wallets of course have their own risks... like a corrupted hard drive or lose of the storage device it is stored on.
