No, I'm thinking about making channels, but I'm missing the ideas you can make some money if you have enough subscribers

Monetizing on Telegram is tough unless you have a channel in niche like sports or crypto. I’ve got a book channel with over 10k subs and still make zero from it, lol. So yeah just having a lot of subscribers doesn’t mean you’ll make money...you really need to pick a niche that’s easy to monetize too.

Good niche : crypto, sports, deals, etc

1. my experience
I had a telegram channel back in 2018-2021, so I've seen how it all works. the biggest lesson? if you don’t figure out how to monetize early on, you’ll just end up burning time and money

2. how telegram actually pays
telegram does pay for ad views, but unless you’re pulling in millions of views, it’s basically nothing. don’t count on this as your main income source — it's just not worth it for small or mid-sized channels

3. how to grow a telegram channel
the main strategy is buying shoutouts (aka paid ads) from other channels with a similar niche.

example deal – 2/24 post for $40:
  • 2 = your post stays at the top for 2 hours
  • 24 = your post stays in the feed for 24 hours before it gets deleted
there are other setups too like 1/48, 3/forever, etc. prices vary based on visibility and post lifespan.

4. how to start making money
once you’ve built a small, loyal audience, you can flip the model — instead of buying ads, people start paying you for shoutouts. this is your first real shot at earning, but don’t expect people to line up with cash. it’s not that easy. you’ll need to spend time every day finding clients

if your audience is strong and loyal enough, you might even get repeat clients — but that’s a whole separate topic

5. the trap: traffic arbitrage
here’s the downside — you’ll probably end up doing traffic arbitrage, which means constantly buying and selling ads between channels
  • in the beginning, you’ll reinvest 100% of what you make
  • to scale faster, you might need to reinvest 200–250%
  • later, when the channel is stable, you can reduce that to 70% or so

this cycle is exhausting and risky. if you stay stuck here without a plan, growth gets really hard

6. the smart way: real monetization
to escape the endless loop of ad trading, you need a solid product or service

better monetization options:
  • build a SaaS bot or tool that solves a problem for your audience
  • sell your expertise through consulting, guides, courses, or other info products
  • promote affiliate products — if your channel has the right niche and trust, you can make solid passive income by recommending tools, services, or platforms you actually use
that’s how you start making real, sustainable money — not just flipping ads

yes, but the system sucks: it pays pennies in telegram stars, you gotta convert it to ton coin, then exchange it to your local currency

I told you all the usual monetization options. you can come up with something unique and make money

CPA is kinda special... 5 years ago, channels with AliExpress ref links were a gold mine for admins focused on Asia and CIS audiences. now Telegram's growing in EU/US, so you can try local marketplaces like Amazon or Temu

channels like MEN AMAZON / WOMEN AMAZON / TEMU FOR KIDS / STUFF FOR SMOKERS FROM... — I think it can work

Making easy money is an art.

Just think simply.

When i told you about the telegram channel i kinda want to make audience that i can use later, like make a channel about cars grow an audience then make a car parts shop, you know what i mean here?
But i miss the methods to grow an audience and make an engaging content with that audience, what do you say?

I am also interested in this subject, especially if there is anyone who sells training on group and channel growth, I can buy it.

Yeah i don't know man, i didn't get that talent yet so that's lift me with the hard way but, when i start making money i have great plans to grow and reach my first million USD

yeah bro, I get it. I explained above how the ad cycle works

you gotta find channels where your audience is likely hanging out. like, here's a service — telemetr.io — you can use it to search for channels

look for channels about cars first — like yours. then check out channels that guys are into (’cause who’s watching car channels? like 98% dudes). stuff like men’s health, motivational quotes for men, how to be a man, science stuff, etc — you get the idea

as for content — no clue. for it to really hit with your audience, it’s gotta come from the heart. that means talking about stuff you actually know. I’m sure there’s an audience for every topic and every creator. the real question is how to monetize it

your plan:
  • channel — about cars
  • monetization — open a car parts shop
won’t work, 'cause your readers will be from all over the world (especially if you’re writing in English), not just from your city where your shop is

this plan might work better:
  • channel — about cars
  • monetization — consultations on how to choose a car, or maybe you check the used car via skype, give advice, something like that. could be some value in it, even if it’s kinda weird (not sure how to fully check a car online). or maybe a bot that checks open data on a car — like registration, liens, etc. but that also really depends on the country

Telegram has a lot of traffic. But if you want to create a channel for money, and not just a small blog, you need to also use twitter-reddit-youtube-tiktok to attract subscribers. This is called conditionally free traffic.

Yeah if you start from 0 new channel it would be hard to get first subs, or you can boost first subscribers and then run official telegram ads and put your channel link everywhere on internet)
