Is creating Blogger blogs using a paid custom domain, optimizing them according to SEO best practices, publishing valuable content on them, and building backlinks to other websites through them considered a violation of Google's policies, or is it a good and acceptable strategy?

I struggle to find the issue here. My first ever blog was created on blogger with custom domain.

depends if this domain has any history or no

Using paid custom domains, SEO optimization, valuable content, and backlinks on Blogger is generally acceptable if done ethically, but be cautious of manipulative practices that violate Google's guidelines.

It's a smart strategy as long as the content is original, valuable, and not made solely for backlinks.

Sounds like a solid strategy as long as the content is valuable and the backlinks are natural. Google usually only cracks down when things get spammy. Keep it clean and you’re good!

Using Blogger with a paid custom domain, solid SEO, and quality content to build backlinks is generally acceptable if done naturally. Just avoid spammy linking or link schemes to stay within Google’s guidelines.

Been there done that in my early years of blogging say approximately two years. It wasn’t too bad.

But you can get a 5$ per year hosting these days with say Hostkoala as that was my metamorphosis of blog hosting before moving onto using VPS and Dedi for solid projects.
