Is there any way to fix the problem of branded keywords not appearing in google ads keyword planner?
When I search for my keyword in Google Ads Keyword Planner, I get a message that the keyword has been removed. While I search for competitor branded keywords, they still appear

It could be that Google Ads Keyword Planner doesn't show some branded keywords due to restrictions or policies. Have you tried reaching out to Google Ads support for clarification? They might have insights on how to work around this issue.

I want to know if there is any way to fix it, if not then definitely contact google ads

could be many reasons...

- temporary issue with GAds
- low search volume
- geo / political restrictions or limitations
- even GAds account limitations
- etc...

I think it's best to ask GAds support directly

Yeah bro, that happens a lot lately. Google is getting stricter with branded keywords, especially if it's your own brand and the volume is low. They sometimes remove it from Keyword Planner data completely, even though people are still searching for it.

One reason might be that your brand is still new or doesn't have enough search volume yet, so Google filters it out as “low relevance.” Another reason could be trademark stuff, sometimes Google hides or limits branded data for legal reasons, even if it’s your own.

You can try checking Google Trends or Search Console for traffic around your brand name. That usually shows more accurate data than Keyword Planner. Also, you can run a broad match campaign with your brand name as part of the ad copy and see if it gets impressions. that’s kind of a test to see if there's traffic.

If you're running ads at scale or need smoother setups for brand growth, accounts with more trust level (like agency setups) usually have fewer issues with this kind of thing. But yeah, branded terms in Keyword Planner have been buggy for a while now.

You provided useful information, thanks bro!

Google may restrict certain branded keywords from appearing in the tool if they believe they violate trademark policies.

I know someone who still does it, high volume brand keyword searches, still working. Even I'm giving it a try.

Branded keywords may be hidden due to low search volume or policy restrictions—try using broad match variations or third-party tools like SEMrush for more data.

SEMrush and Ahrefs source their data from GKP. It has to show up there first to be noted in these tools later
