If you’re in IPTV and doing any kind of recurring billing, you already know—getting payments to stick is half the battle.
Here’s what’s been working (after a lot of trial and error):
  • Gateways freeze accounts way too easily, even when everything’s clean.
  • Card fails happen all the time, and if your system doesn’t retry automatically, you’re just losing money.
  • Chargebacks suck, but giving users an easy way to cancel or pause helps avoid most of them.
  • International users = more problems. You need something that can handle cross-border stuff without going nuts.
  • Waiting weeks to get approved? Not ideal when you’re trying to launch fast.
Just my experience messing with IPTV setups. If you’ve found something that actually works long-term, would love to hear it.

Agreed! For quite a few months i used peerwallet, they were good. But there fees was very high and checkout expereince was not so easy for customers. Currently, testing out rotating multiple cloaked paypal accounts to receive payments. Working well uptil now. Will see if this setup can go work long term

Which cloaking method do you use for paypal?

How much is the initial invest to do iptv?
I'd say not much, if you are going to go as a reseller, depending on the lowest, medium and highest of a credit plan/prices that a provider does, you can invest as much.

What are you planning to do? how big do you want to go? which country(s) is/are your target market?

Well, it's just an idea, but the plan would be to sell it in Costa Rica… and run the promotion on social media using Facebook Ads, so that interested people are directed to WhatsApp, where I'd have an AI-powered chatbot handling most of the sales. Possible?

So, I guess you are looking for Latino, Caribbean and US content as priority.

1- find a reliable provider who has those packages in good shape
2- evaluate their support and stream stability, you know the drill
3- Subscribe to their service so you only pay for the panel/credits and not the fuss like server setup, cms panel license, dealing with copyright stuff and ...

You should be good to go.

the payment processing issues sound like a real nightmare for iptv businesses. it's tough when gateways are so quick to freeze accounts.

Paypal is the best gateway for IPTV. But you must know how to use it. If you don't know, you'd better find a Paypal expert to work together.
