BTC Finally at 100k+ After 5 Months

Love the chaos posts. "50k incoming. 25k following".

Nah bro. If you can afford to buy and hold for 3-5 years without getting twitchy, your money is safer in BTC than the bank (Opinion, not financial advice).

Agreed, majority of people that tend to invest more than they’re willing to part with will panic during every little downward movement - the key is to ignore the daily price movements and strictly keep DCAing until it hits your price targets.

Since BTC keeps proving it can and will completely recover from dips, if you sincerely believe its value will drop to $50k again, you can always wait for it to do so, then buy in when it next hits $50k.

Well, no. It's all a volume game. Like here in India the fixed deposit rate is about 7.10% or so (+/- some basis points in reputed banks). If someone has 100 million INR, he will get 7.1 million INR per year for doing nothing. While the one with 1000 USD worth of BTC can always dream about becoming a billionaire.

Well, yes. Certainly in UK/US, anyway. Based on regulation, recent historical gov. banking bailouts, deposit protection and more.

In my country banks' interest rates reached 20%+ on local currency and still around the same (24% was the highest it got, but never got below 16% for the last few years). On the other hand, the currency value dropped ~40% against all major currencies (ofc more for gold or BTC) over the last year alone, and it's like 10x devalued over the last 10 years. I know it's not the same for India, don't know much but I believe currency value didn't change much for the last few years(?), if so then the 7% is a good return and is absolutely a much safer choice than BTC.
It's not the same everywhere, many variables in the equitation here. You need to know where you're in this world and your country's economic status, laws and regulations, besides market's data in order to make a wise informed investment decision that's best for YOUR OWN situation and targets.
All that aside, looking at 1-3 years frame, gold or BTC proved to give best ROI, with both providing ease of spending and moving money if needed, gold being the safe choice, and BTC for those who don't worry much.

Can’t lie i started to worry when it fell to $70k
