Hi all,

A few days ago, something happened that I believe is worth sharing to protect others in this community.

Someone reached out to me after seeing my journey thread. He seemed honest and eager to help me succeed. He offered support, claimed to have a team, and said he could help implement my methods faster if I shared my systems and samples.

At first, I was cautious and didn’t share everything. But during our discussions, I did give him some insights things, samples I’ve spent time and energy figuring out.

Suddenly, just when we were about to move forward with buying some tools and services, he disappeared. He stopped replying to my messages but remained active on forums like this. That’s when I realized: he wasn’t an investor. He was an idea thief, collecting strategies while pretending to partner up.

I wasn’t sure whether to post this or not. But if it saves even one person from making the same mistake, it’s worth it.

Now, I’m not here to accuse anyone. Maybe the person just changed his mind. But my gut tells me something was off.

So here’s the best advice I can give from this experience:

Protect your ideas. Not everyone who approaches you with offers of help or investment has good intentions. Some are just looking to extract value and vanish.

Please be careful when sharing your methods, especially when someone suddenly shows interest after seeing your hard work.

I believe in karma. Whatever we do, good or bad, comes back eventually.

Stay focused. Stay smart. Good luck to all chasing your dreams. :)

Yes, say who did it. If there’s any evidence, all the better. It’s not forbidden to “steal ideas” in this forum, so it’s not bannable. But it’s perfectly fine to expose the rats and let everyone know who they are

Yes, I believe what goes around, comes around too. We can't let the "bad folks" stop us from helping each others out.

I even stopped sharing ideas with my friends and family. Recently a close family member of mine stole a method I shared with him and abused it to the max. Since then I stopped talking about such stuff with anyone.

In case you’re feeling shy, here’s my contribution. This guy, Sergio Fuentes, owner of an OF agency, did pretty much the same thing to me. He asked me a question about media buying, which I answered at length, and we even agreed to run some joint tests on a little-known traffic source that I’d used successfully in the past.

Completely innocently and in good faith, I gave him ALL the data with no filter. From that very moment he stopped responding to my WhatsApps. Two or three days later, ads for several of his models mysteriously appeared on that traffic source.

It’s fine to put a name and a face to someone who behaves like a rat. Who knows—maybe someday someone thinking of doing business with this guy will come across this post by chance.

Who was it?

Unlucky man, some people do steal ideas but chances are he’s just a chancer who won’t even bother starting it or attempting it

unfornatelly it could happen ... take care bro and you know, karma is bitch...

No worries, friends. I just wanted to give a heads-up to all of you, this kind of thing can happen to anyone. :)

So be careful when dealing with people, and most importantly, keep working hard toward your goals!

Yep. But would it count as targeted harassment? Sometimes crazy things do happen. I myself had to appeal a few mod decision in the past so best to be 100% sure.

So sorry about that mate. But like OP said, one has to be careful. Nothing else that we can do other than that.

That's exactly why I sell paid marketing audits.

What's stopping you from revealing his username?

If not here send me via pm so atleast we can avoid the beggar at all costs

I will my friend. :) In my next journey thread update I'll reveal him.

Again I'm saying these kind of things can happen to anyone. :) So be careful when dealing with people, and most importantly, keep working hard toward your goals!
