How do I bypass IP Bans? (Urgent Help)

Hello Everyone,

Actually I use a python script to scrape recent addresses from etherscan transactions using etherscan API.

I use everything under the limits.

The issue is that the script works all fine and great continuously even for 6 hours continuously but after that they give me a temporary IP ban.

I figured it out because I have 2 wifi networks, I just changed the wifi connection (basically changed my public IP) and it started working again.

Any way I can bypass it without paying so much or just free?

Like I can use one public IP it gets blocked I switch to something else and start working again? Something like that?

Also most importantly it shouldn't slow down the speed, like I know speed will obviously be slow but it shouldn't affect much.

Yeah that’s pretty normal tbh. Etherscan’s “free tier” will IP temp-ban you even if you're within limits, especially if you're scraping non-stop for hours.

Your best bet? Rotate IPs via proxies (datacenter ones are fine, no need for residential). You can spin up a few cheap VPS instances with different providers or go with something like ScraperAPI or a similar rotating proxy provider- some have free tiers.

Or if you’re on a tight budget, look into public proxy lists + some IP checking fallback, just don’t expect 100% uptime.

Also, don't forget to randomize your request intervals a bit. Even 6h of constant same-interval hits starts to look botty af.

You don’t need anything fancy tbh. Just check the proxy BST section here - there are a bunch of guys selling rotating datacenter proxies that work fine for scraping.

Just avoid the free public ones unless you're okay with stuff randomly breaking. Look for something that handles rotation automatically and doesn’t throttle hard. Most sellers mention if their stuff works for scraping anyway.

Rotating residential proxies will work well for you but maybe rotating datacenter will do as well

The cheapest way would be going through proxies, if it’s as simple as switching IP and useragent doesn’t get flagged at all I’m pretty sure you can just rotate cheap quality residential proxies.

You'd need to buy some high quality proxies to circumvent this ban. Residential proxies tend to be a good fit for this situation.

You should get more good proxies. If budget isless, go for public proxies.

You can use mobile proxies. They are harder to detect, but yeah they tend to be more expensive.
